    Powerful read

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/former-trump-fan-explained-why-134849017.html

Collins responded to another creator who was asking Trump's critics why they "hate him so much."

"It's simple for me," Collins said in his video, which has been viewed over a million times. "Because he made me realize how horrible of a person I really was."

Collins said he "drank the juice" and "joined the cult."

"I was on the Trump train, baby," he said.

"He didn't make me be a bad person — he just emboldened me to be the person I already was," he said. "Donald Trump appeals to the worst of America. In 2024, we need to bring out the best of America."

And that is the line everyone should take to heart.

Donald Trump appeals to the worst of America.

    We can do better
    We need to do better

If you read the article that guy is a nobody ex-convict who was in prison during Trump's term.

The left will deify ANYBODY as long as they say something negative about Trump.

    Much ado about literally NOTHING.

    Powerful read?...Pfft. That is funny.

So serving time in prison means your opinion is automatically invalidated?

So after Trump goes to prison (and trust me, he's going) you will forever after ignore anything he has to say?

It means it is hard to take them seriously yes. It would be one thing if you were talking about someone that perhaps was noteeworthy before they went to prison like a Nelson Mandela or even a Martha Stewart, their words could actually be noteworthy. But this is just another nondescript ex-con who according to the odds is likely to end up back in prison. The only thing noteworthy here is that he is a person that said a few negative words about Trump. Zzz.

There is nothing there that is a "powerful" read. It is nothing more than an exceedingly brief Trump attack number 5,000,000,000,001. To call that "powerful" is silly.

It's one thing to have been fooled at the start by Trump. But we know he's a criminal, a sexual abuser and, after he stole government secrets, that he has no regard whatsoever for the nation. There is no excuse anymore for still supporting Trump.

The term "deify" means that it takes a "deity" to tell the truth. It doesn't, but if they think so...

The left will "deify" (using the above definition) anybody who tells the truth. Makes no difference who they are.

    Huh?

That isnt the meanining of the word deify. As a result, your response is both confusing and off base.

    Sure it does:
    de·i·fy
    /ˈdēəˌfī/
    verb
    1. worship, regard, or treat (someone or something) as a god.

You claimed the left "treats like a god" anybody who tells the truth about Trump. I'm sure your statement that we "treat them like a god" is hyperbole, but it's definitely not a bad thing to treat somebody who tells the truth with respect. You appear to believe the opposite: that we should respect a pathological liar. I disagree....

Of course, if you now want to insist that you LITERALLY meant "deify", then it;'s obvious you just wanted to throw in and insult and trying to avoid receiving a serious response. Either way, your point is debunked.

Strange, after being called out for your bogus definition, you post the true defintion and act like that is what you said all along. In reality, what you claimed the definition to be was..."The term "deify" means that it takes a "deity" to tell the truth"

Why do you do this type of thing, especially when it is this blatantly obvious?

It makes it impossible to take you seriously.

That IS what the definition says. In any case, now that you know... do you have a RESPONSE? Or was this just intended to avoid answering by changing the subject?

My position remains exactly the same.

When you said "The term "deify" means that it takes a "deity" to tell the truth."

You used a 100% incorrect definition of the word deify. When you then proceeded to post the actual definition and act like it supported your incorrect one, you were 100% incorrect, and it is hard to fathom how that was anything other than purposeful deception.

That is the proper response to your hyperbole. Assuming it WAS hyperbole. If that is the case, then it's the proper response PERIOD. Otherwise (if YOUR expression was hyperbole for "have great respect") you would have something to say to explain what is wrong with treating people who tell the truth with great respect. In any case, now it's clear that it was hyperbole, so the meaning you quote above is ACCURATE.

When talking about morals and being a good person. I think it should have some bearing for someone we know nothing else about. Also the person that convinced him was another in-mate hmm..

I have no idea what you are trying to say, nor do I care. Please go troll elsewhere. I find it impossible to take you seriously, and this conversation is a shining example of why.

He will be sentenced to prison but I doubt he'll actually go to prison. Health issues possibly but my bet is self exile using PAC funds.

Bunch of manure. I'm 84, graduated high school, served the USA in the Navy, never been arrested, never been in jail, never been without a job for more than a few days, married and raised a family, retired financially secure at age 55. I voted for Trump twice. He didn't make me realize how horrible a person I was. Some opinions aren't worth the monitor they are written on.
