IMO Trump is absolutely correct about keeping muslim from coming to this country. Read immigration law. Chapter 2 Section 212 say that no one can come to this country if they plan the overthrow of the government.

Everyone knows the aim of muslims is to get rid of our Constitution and install sharia law. That means Trump is legally right about keeping muslims out of the US.

We should have no problem banning Christians from immigrating then as they all await the day when their master will return and overthrow the US government to implement an absolute monarchy.

False equivalence and not a valid argument.

But it is the standard knee jerk reaction the foolish make when faced with valid criticisms of Islam which is the worst of all religions.

    In your opinion.

    - - - Updated - - -

You've said some pretty extreme things, but this one is the most hilarious.

When Christians all over the world declare war on US citizens, we can revisit this rhetoric you've posted. Let's focus on the actual people who declared Jihad on American innocents. They are called "Muslims".

Christians are eagerly looking forward to the day of living under an absolute dictatorship in which all dissent is punished with cruel and unending torture.

They are at best a Fifth Column.

There have been Muslims in America since slavery. If their intention is to get rid of the Constitution and install Sharia Law they've set a record for procrastination.

When Christians ban together and wish death to America and start killing civilians in the name of Christ, you will certainly have a valid opinion. Right now let's focus on a group of people that have currently waged war on American citizens in the name of Allah. They are called Muslims.

Christians are content to wait and will do nothing to stop their dictator from over throwing the government and torturing thought criminals.

    Christians are a fifth column.

Not everyone buys into the conspiracy theory. We have absolutely no reason to believe that most American Muslims, or most Muslims immigrating to the U.S., are aligned with this goal. Immigration law should treat people as individuals, just as all other laws should.

... quite 'facist' in his overall views.

That will garner him some votes from those of like mind... but it surely diminishes his presidential appeal in general.

What Mr. Trump is accomplishing, is getting issues normally not discussed in politics, discussed. He speaks out on vital issues, the other candidates (all parties) respond and media IS NOW having to cover, where previously little of this would take place. Even the really knowledgeable are getting involved, those that are would be advisors to any President, which really is adding to Trumps validity.

As for immigration or migrant laws, they are flexible and could be changed by Congress for virtually any reason, at any given time. They have altered many times, from nearly no restrictions to actually total restrictions. What was not considered was a President, ignoring the current programs or policies, could single handedly order changes, with one intention, that being political and the goal, a single party rule. I'll suggest socialism the final desire of this administration...which is really close to being fulfilled.

You are oversimplifying things and/or overlooking that literal FACT that the President (none of them) is a "King"; Congress has virtually as much to do with what is or is not getting done, as the President.

If nothing else, our government and related politics is 'complex'. So, while President is responsible for much (as is Congress), it really isn't as easy as pointing one's finger at one or the other.

After all, when was the last time Congress voted on immigration or military actions to be taken against terrorism? Think about that.

I'm sorry, but not 'everyone' knows that. Sharia Law is killing thousands of Muslims, who are now fleeing it. There are hundreds of thousands (millions) of Muslims who have lived in this country for generations without making ANY attempt whatsoever to overthrow this government. How silly and absurd can Trump possibly get?

Germany declared war of the United States of America and it did not distinguish between its government and its citizens. And as I recollect, Germany was a good, upright, Christian nation just like us that didn't have anywhere near the bone to pick with us that the Middle East has.

The backward thing about your extreme paranoia of Christians is that while they are not blowing themselves up in the name of Jesus, or overthrowing other countries in the name of Jesus...we have Muslims doing it in the name of Allah which you refuse to acknowledge.

You are terrified of an enormous group of people not doing anything at all, and yet you play the victim card for people blowing themselves up on an almost daily basis in the name of their god. Muslims are the problem. Not Christians. That is a fact you cannot refute.

Yeah, Christians totally aren't using political influence to implement their "Bible based laws" and restrict my and others' rights. You make it sound like I should only care about oppression when it comes to violence.

Muslims don't have the practical ability to turn America into a theocracy. Christofascists do.

You really don't believe that if the Christian right ascended to power in the country that we wouldn't see Biblical Law and have the same kind of reign of terror we're currently seeing in ISISville? I mean stonings for prostitutes, hangings or witchcraft, etc. I do.

Nobody has challenged the system, as Trump has been doing, at least in the past 50 years, where issue's of the day are concerned.

I will agree, for our Constitution to work, all THREE Branches should get involved. Certainly the Congress has not challenged the current Administrations policies, while directing policy change through the various departments or has Congress challenged SCOTUS, to change written legislation to meet their purpose (ACA). Obama may be called the President, but he is acting like a King, and getting away with it.

Hmmm. Did ISIS say, or not say, that they will occupy the White House?

You consider Christian politicians more of a threat than ISIS?

Your paranoia is like Rush Limbaugh's paranoia of Obama

They have no practical ability to occupy the White House. ISIS cannot defeat the Military District of Washington, the Capitol Police, and the Secret Service.

Dominionists need only win an election to occupy the White House and 3 Dominionists are in the Republican field right now.

Haha this is hilarious. You believe Christian Americans, who are not committing any violence in name of Jesus Christ (with the exception of probably 10 people over the span of decades), are more dangerous than terrorists who murder any and all civilians they can, and vow to do kill as many as possible in America.

That type of Jihadist rhetoric is very dangerous.

We are talking about people who not too long ago lobbied aggressively to try and stop the Supreme Court from striking down laws that let them put gays in prison. People who advocate "obscenity laws", who believe that religious freedom only means "freedom to choose what denomination of (preferably Protestant) Christianity you want to believe in", people who would give women less body autonomy than corpses.

They have real power to oppress me and others. Muslim terrorists don't. The US government will never fall under the control of ISIS. We could fall under the control of Dominionists as soon as January 2017.
