…Former President Donald Trump felt robbed, understandably so. NPR’s Domenico Montanaro said, “Just 44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College.” Let’s look at just three states. The Michigan secretary of state used COVID-19 as an excuse to send a mail-in ballot application to every registered voter, whether or not the voter requested one. True, Trump lost the lawsuit against Michigan when the Michigan Supreme Court refused to take up the case, leaving the Michigan Court of Appeals ruling in place. But in that 2-1 ruling on procedural grounds, Judge Patrick Meter dissented, arguing that the “issues are not moot because state electors have not yet been seated, the Electoral College has not yet been assembled, and Congress has not yet convened.” In Pennsylvania, numerous rules and regulations were violated, including allowing election officials to accept some ballots received after Election Day. Two prominent liberal professors, Harvard emeritus Alan Dershowitz and George Washington University’s Jonathan Turley, suggested that Trump’s lawsuit against the state had merit. About Pennsylvania’s acceptance of ballots after election day, Dershowitz said, “The Constitution doesn’t permit anybody in the state but the legislature to make decisions about elections.” Turley wrote: “Pennsylvania remains a rich environment for challenges. Judicial changes ordered to the state law have raised fierce objections. … The issues in Pennsylvania may involve mailed ballots without postmarks and the rejection of those with signature mismatches. There are lawsuits over officials ‘curing’ defective ballots and letting ineligible voters fill out ballots, actions that could knock out small pockets which could change the results.” The Wisconsin Supreme Court, also on procedural grounds, ruled against Trump 4-3. But the chief justice of that court, in a dissent, argued among other things that the use of drop boxes violated the law. Chief Justice Patience Roggensack wrote, “The WEC (Wisconsin Election Commission) ignores that the legislature provided only one act an election official may take in regard to a defective witness address:… …Indeed, in July 2022, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, in a 4-3 decision, disallowed the use of drop boxes… read more: https://www.gopusa.com/trump-is-not-an-insurrectionist/ Larry Elder is right. Trump had every right to feel robbed. He had solid cases in multiple states. He was right to fight to the end to contest the results in multiple states.
No he is not. The J6 committee are the traitors here. The article is exactly right regarding why Trump had every reason to feel robbed and to contest the election results in several states.
oh, does trump "feelz" robbed? if there is any evidence please provide. otherwise get into golf cart 1 and go away. some day even his most loyal fans are going to wake up.
The J6 Committee are traitors because they are investigating an insurrection? How is that being a traitor?
Given that Trump, long before the first ballot was ever cast, he declared at every rally, "The only way Democrats can win is if they rig the election", it is clear is every motive and claim is suspect. Given that all elections have irregularities, Trump knew that if he could hype the irregularities as 'dems rigging' his base would believe him. Therefore, he exploited what are normal irregularities to a base which is not sophisticated enough to know the difference. He did this in an effort to subvert the election, whereupon he and his surrogates concocted numerous schemes, such as the illegal fake elector scheme, hyped up irregularities and phone calls to election officials in an attempt to illegally persuade them to decertify their elections or replace Biden electors with Trump electors, noting that he did this in only states that Biden won in, noting that if it were true that Dems were rigging the election, they would have done it in other states, as well, but Trump didn't challenge those states, only those that Biden won in, not to mention the witness intimidation he and his staff have been doing. Therefore, he had no right and his entire effort is illegal and criminal, as it wrongfully and unjustly has shaken the confidence in American democracy to some 65,000,000 people, which is damage to AMerica hitherto unseen in the modern era by any president and by that measure, a threat to national security not to mention the fact that his damaging of Democracy is being used by Putin as 'proof' that democracy is a failure (or so I'm told), and thus he is aiding and abetting and giving comfort to the enemy, the very definition of 'treason'. In my view, Trump needs to be prosecuted and incarcerated, done efficiently and without sorrow. Clearly you do not understand what 'traitor' means and by any reasonable standard, the J6 effort his heroic, and commendation to the two republicans heading the effort are warranted, especially given the hate emails and death threats they recieve amongst other members of their own party, and bullying and harassment by Donald Trump.
Inadequate rebuttal; no offering of well thought out reasoning as to why you believe it to be true, nor any corroborating evidence has been offered, nothing to refute my well-thought out and reasoned counter argument, therefore your rebuttal is vacuous and by that fact, without merit.
