I'm always sorry to hear people like you complaining about the wealthy or how their work ethics helped them get there. The entire US History was built on the principle, any individual can achieve, yes they may have to work hard and may not achieve all they hoped to, but they have had the change here, where in most the world, the people have had little or no change.

I just wrote another piece on Trump; Why is it you think Trump working 24/7/365 to achieve nothing he doesn't already have, makes him a bigot, racist or anything else. IMO, it's simple, it's his way to thank a country, for giving him the opportunity to do well, which by all standards, he has.

trump is an unapologetic racist. It is what it is. There's zero point in him saying "sorry I'm a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic pig"...it wouldn't make him any less of a pig.

Besides, trump is the gift that keeps giving. If the republicans had put up a decent candidate, they would have probably easily won this election and potentially grew their party. Hillary isn't a strong candidate...but even she can whomp trump. Right now, the republican party is fracturing and they've exposed their filthy racist underbelly to the entire nation. We all knew it was there....but now its so blatantly obvious. And that's what the trump cultists are really upset about. What they call the "establishment" republican party has engaged over the years in making their racism subtle and vague...and they don't like that. They want trump's version of outward racism...they think they should be able to be open about their hate. They love trump's boorish, slobbering, loudmouth hate-mongering...it gives them a voice to be the same way. They can't see the obvious outcome of it which will be that the country and the world will be repelled and will double-down on eradicating their ideology.

For Progressives, trump will ensure that their agenda becomes far more effective. He's the gross, ugly, orange poster-child villain for what a portion of the republican party stands for.

 

He's not doing anything to the party. He isn't really part of the party. He's against it. In my town, he's united Republicans like ever before (against him).

 

Maybe so, buy they are the only real swing voters nonetheless.
