Dr. Bandy Lee was a quack 'psychiatrist who lost her job at Yale University because she was obsessed with diagnosing Trump from afar, without ever even having met him.'

'Psychiatrists frown on that, apparently.'

She tried to sue her way back into employment, but big shock, the quack lost.

'A prominent psychiatrist who called President Trump and his loyalists mentally ill failed to get her job back after Yale University parted ways with Dr. Bandy Lee two years ago, a judge ruled.'

Yes, I heard her lofting forth her diagnosis on the Mark Levin show. He very cleverly just let her talk, trusting the intelligence of his audience to understand that he was giving her an opportunity to hang herself with her mouth on a national audience.

She was so smug. Then she was unemployed.

'A federal judge in Connecticut dismissed a wrongful termination lawsuit that charged the Ivy League school with violating the woman’s free speech and professional obligations when she was not reappointed to her role with the school.'

She has every right to be an idiot before a national audience, but, no one is obligated to employ a national embarrassment.

'Lee was with the school for 17 years. She argued in legal papers she had a “duty to warn” people about the “contagion” of Trump’s mental state.'

The Court was not as impressed with her smugness as she is.

'The prestigious university had questions about her judgment and ability to teach after she started making medical proclamations about Trump and others close to him.'

Too bad CNN is downsizing, she would be cheaper to feed than Potatohead Stelter

Do you think it's a good think that this quack Psychiatrist that was diagnosing folks without ever meeting them in person and announcing her 'diagnosis' to a national audience with no regard for HIPPA protections finds herself termed from Yale with a Court backing up Yale trash canning her for this unprofessional conduct?

 

@Zorro On the face of it this seems like a perfectly legitimate ruling. I've never been a fan of people making wild declarations about Trump's mental health (especially when they're clinically flawed).

Do you think the same kind of thing should and would apply to any medical professionals saying similar things about Biden's mental health? What about all of the ones promoting anti-vax and anti-mask rhetoric and conspiracy theories?

I know this is an old thread-some seriously ill Trump hater has been citing this Doctor in various social media forums including FB and others. As a Yale Alum, I recall when this quack got the boot. A late relative (the husband of my mom's first cousin) was a professor of Psychiatry at Yale and I believe was part of the panel who gave her the boot. She has a 1.8 rating out of 5 as a doctor. IN all the years I have followed politics (starting with the Carter/Ford election seriously), I have never seen the level of almost certifiable craziness over Trump. BTW I don' t think that twit is married. Any guy who would is most likely in need of a real shrink

 

I suspect perhaps the university used this as an excuse to fire her for other actual reasons, and that her long going public statements against Trump were only one of the factors.

There is a mentality (kept under wrap) in academia that there are "too many Asians". Maybe they didn't really want to hire her in the first place but felt they had to because not doing so would be discrimination. Despite what you might think, these high-paying professor jobs at elite universities are coveted positions, so there is a little bit of jealousy going on and trying to safeguard the club for insiders.

As an arm-chair psychiatrist I say Dr. Bandy Lee, MD, MDiv, is a sad case. As we used to say aboard ship, "Her gyro has tumbled".

 

I thought Asian-Americans were smart. Obviously this one was not smart enough to know only BLACK people can get away with this sort of thing.

 

When something like this happens to a conservative who says something racist, the same dumbasses cheering the firing of this person, are on here complaining about the death of free speech, and whining like little babies about cancel culture.
