In the latest iteration of his 2024 presidential campaign announcement tease, former President Donald Trump said, "I promise you" will be "very happy" in the next "short period of time."…

…"So, everybody, I promise you in the very next very, very, very short period of time, you're going to be so happy, OK?"…

…"Very, very soon — you're going to be surprised at how soon, but first we have to win a historic victory for Republicans on Nov. 8 — three days from now."…

    I
can’t wait! I hope he decides to actually be a candidate for President again. I want to be very happy, ASAP.

I noticed Trump had the number 24 emblazoned on his cap at his recent PA rally.

I’ll be interested to see what he chooses. Be it him, DeSantis, or someone else with the nomination I suspect they would far outperform Dems in improving America if elected.

My pet squirrel could easily do a better job than Democrats are doing.

I'm pretty sure if the "big dog" decides to run no one will oppose him. If he decides not run I'm pretty sure DeSantis will against several other candidates. But it's Trump decision to make.

Well I think we can safely say Trump has no interest in DeSantis as a running mate.

Trump mocks DeSantis at Pennsylvania rally: 'Ron DeSanctimonious'

Former President Donald Trump took a swipe at Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis at a rally on Saturday night referring to him as "Ron DeSanctimonious" in what could be a sign of growing tension between the two potential presidential candidates.

I don't know. Harris flat-out called Biden as a racist, and ended up in the VP seat anyway.

I don't see DeSantis accepting VP, and I sure don't see Trump offering it.

What I don't understand is why the need to fire shots at DeSantis 3 days before an election?

I don't see it either, just it's not unprecedented for bitter inter-party rivals to become closely allied after the election.

I don't think DeSantis is competition for Trump. He's got re-election as FL governor wrapped up if Trump runs, and the nomination for POTUS is his if Trump doesn't run. DeSantis is waiting to see what Trump does. He will run for POTUS only if Trump doesn't.

That's my thinking too. There is no DeSantis 2024 run if Trump declares. In fact I don't see Trump having much competition other than a few Lincoln Project types.

    WRONG!
Harris NEVER Called Biden a "Racist". Period!
    Why Repeat Luducrious Debunked Misinformation?
Is "Material" really weaing that thin?:bored:
Harris prefaced her attack in the June 27, 2019, debate by telling Biden, "I do not believe you are a racist.

    So?
In that case, as has ALWAYS been the case:
    IF Trump Runs...
THEN Trump is an Absolute LOCK for the GOP Nomination...

^A Revelation as Surprising as "1+1=2"...
I have always thought that Trump would be unbeatable for the nomination..
    But, as to this part:
"I don't see Trump having much competition other than a few Lincoln Project types"
^I am really not sold on that idea (just yet)...
Although--Clearly anybody opposing him in a Primary is setting money on fire, and such an undertaking would be a Complete Fool's Errand...

I thought you were still in prison?

In any case, burning money is what all independent and third party campaigns are about anyway. In fact that's what the Lincoln Project specializes in. So there are still a lot of big donors out there who are willing to throw money on the fire.

I'm sure she dropped to her knees in a very submissive and apologetic manner when confronted with her sin! Old habits die hard!

It is astounding that Dems irrationally call Trump racist, yet ran Brandon…who actually is.
