I agree. I'm having a hard time figuring why did the EU has so many deals with Iran, its bad investment. But they will go against their interests, like the Russian sanctions. They are the second losers here, that's why they were against the US pull out. Iran is being cornered more, and I believe it will be really nasty for them if they resume the nuke program, this is not the Obama era.
1 - USD is not a commodity. 2 - you think EU would align together and compensate their businesses billions of euros for losses caused by US sanctions over Iran? Over Iran? Really?
My first step in starting a war with Iran would be cancelling the deal. But maybe it's a coincidence.
It would really be fun to watch 'the rest of the world' organizing themselves against the US. We all know that politics makes for strange bedfellows but that is just to comical to imagine.
Maybe they will stop playing along with our sanctions and continue to do business with Iran in exchange for their remaining in the agreement despite our withdrawal. Who knows?
It's a tenuous position, behaving this erratically and expecting everyone to fall in line indefinitely. The bully is overconfident until he finally gets his nose bloodied.
Looks like the world is prepared to continue the Iran nuclear deal WITHOUT the USA this is good to hear
What would you do if you were the leader of Iran? Would you really want to challenge the US with Trump running the show? And how many European leaders would want to side with Iran rather than with the world's Superpower democracy?
And face US sanctions? Official governments might not join sanctions, but European businesses are so intertwined with US economy, they’ll voluntarily pull out.
all the other signatories to the deal will continue the deal. be interesting to see the USA impose sanctions on the EU
Then let them continue with the deal but, when it comes to deal making, the US probably has the best dealmaker in the political world.
Trump didn't pulled out because Iran didn't comply with the deal, but because it was a bad one. And I really hope you didn't think of BiBi's show as evidence...
Good point, but that was under different Presidents. Trump should cut off all aid to the Palestinians.
Is that true? Why doesn't the president agree with you? Besides, it was Obama that handed Trump that open door and Trump walked through it.
Iran is not a threat to the US. Unlike the US, they have not interfered with the internal affairs of the US, as the US did in 1953 when they overthrew an elected president and installed a puppet dictator in order to steal their oil. Reagan also supported his staunch ally Saddam Hussein when he invaded Iran in 1980, resulting in hundreds of thousand dying. The sanctions are cowardly and barbaric and will only hurt the people of Iran.
