    Former President Donald Trump plans to return to Washington, D.C., for the first time since leaving office in January 2021, according to Axios.

    Trump is scheduled to headline a July 26 event for the America First Policy Institute(AFPI), Axios reported Thursday.

    The former president is slated to deliver the keynote address at 3 p.m. ET on the second day of the AFPI's two-day, invitation-only policy summit. The event will be streamed live and open to the press…


    …Former Trump administration officials, members of Congress, governors, and state officials also are scheduled to participate in AFPI panel discussions and presentations.

    The group has not specified the two-day event's location yet due to security reasons…

    This ought to be interesting. The return to the belly of the beast in the heart of the swamp. It’s sad that they have to keep the location secret out of fear of incivility from elements of the other side.

    I wonder if Biden will invite him to the White House to discuss issues facing the nation or if the justice department will sic their Antifa and BLM goons upon the streets around the site?

    July 26 is a Tuesday, so there’s no reason why Biden can’t invite him to the White House since his four day weekend would be over.

    The PRIVILEGE of a Former President being invited by the Sitting OPez to the WH:
    ONLY applies to those with enough class to attend the Inauguration of their successor...
    Obviously, since that is the criteria--Trump doesn't fit the bill...

    I don’t expect that Biden will have the class needed to extend such an invitation. He’s a low class vindictive and bitter person and is not about to ask for help. Biden is a complete and total disgrace.

    If meeting with a seditious, twice impeached failed politician that was removed by the people and is under investigation for conspiring to steal a federal U.S. election is the only way we can “unite” with his base — then this country would be better off if we remained separate.

    At least we all had food on the table, gas in our cars, were going on vacation and had money in our 401's. Men were still men and woman were still woman. We had millions less illegals and drug deaths were down. Accused criminals were being held in jails, and off the streets, awaiting trials. C'mon Andy you know deep in your heart you miss him.

    Au contraire, Biden asked for help when he hit the tarmac yesterday in Israel! He actually asked, "what am I doing now?" Can anyone believe we have to put up with this kind of stooge posing as president? No respect for him at all and they are laughing at him. Anyone defending him has no brain.

    I have no clue how you associate any of what you just posted to trump — y’all were still screaming about trans people, still screaming about the caravans of illegals (remember when trump sent the national guard to the boarder for Christmas after they had already disbursed. What criminals were being held in prison by trump?

    I have seen some revisionist history before but bravo, that much packed in just a few short lines is truly impressive.

    What makes you think I’m doing that. I’m an open pro Trump supporter openly advocating for him and conservative populist ideas living in the most blue state in the country. I have a Jefferson 51 and a back the blue police flag as the two stickers on my car. No hiding here
