What I find most disturbing is that the charges against him are all immediately dropped just because he won the presidency back. Presidents should not be above the law.

Like he said, "success will be his revenge". It will take getting rid of all those undermining his agenda as part of that success. When people talk about revenge, they don't mean naming new cabinet members, because every president does that. Trump is expected to literally punish people for being critical of him, - the ones he calls vermin and enemies of the State / enemies within.

You are not alone, since lot of Trump loyalists want him to use the authority of the presidency to destroy people.

They were financial crimes and he faced the music for them. Lot of people are in prisons for such crimes. You, in the other hand, seem to want to see people prosecuted simply for being critical of your political leader, which is something which is not a crime.
