Obama wasn't charged. Nor were Clinton, or Sanders. Are they above the law?

What's with your hardon for Trump? Be honest.

Brilliant, Trump is trying to make DeSantis his next fall guy. If DeSantis doesn't comply with Trump's insane, unconstitutional demands, he will become the next Trump fan pariah. Getting ready for the hang DeSantis chants. Just like Pence.

    True, NB...
In general terms, I am starting to wonder if certain people can even discuss the topic, without self-owning comedy like "But, Clinton...But, Obama...":bored:

Trump was starting to fail in 2018, and it got bad in 2019

some say Trump wanted the virus to spread and the reason Trump shutdown the economy is that he knew the economy was failing, and the only way for him to inject trillions into the mega corps was to use the virus crisis to do so, if that did not work, he would blame it on the virus, win\win either way as far as Trump was concerned

Wasn't it Costello who was Cohen's lawyer when Cohn was still protecting Trump and relayed a message to Cohen the effect that he'd be taken care of?
This was when Cohen was to testify before congress?

NY grand jury investigating Trump will hear from attorney Bob Costello, at Trump's behest: Source
    Source: ABC News

"The Manhattan grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump over a payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels will hear from an additional witness on Monday, attorney and longtime Trump ally Bob Costello, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News. Costello at one point represented Michael Cohen, Trump's former fixer and attorney, who is a key witness for the district attorney’s office since Cohen wrote the $130,000 check to Daniels in the lead-up to the 2016 election.

Prosecutors in New York are looking into whether Trump falsified business records in connection with that money, which was allegedly to keep Daniels from talking about a long-denied affair, sources familiar with the matter previously told ABC News. The district attorney's office informed Trump earlier this month of his right to testify before a grand jury in the probe, a possible signal that prosecutors are moving toward a charging decision.

In New York, potential targets of investigations are, by law, given the chance to appear before the grand jury hearing evidence. Trump has "no plans" to participate in the grand jury investigation, his attorney Joe Tacopina told George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "Good Morning America" last week. However, the Trump legal team did petition to have Costello testify before the grand jury, sources said Sunday.

Cohen, whom Trump has turned on and dismissed as a "fraudster," said Sunday he was asked to make himself available Monday as a rebuttal witness. Reached by ABC News, Costello declined to comment. A spokeswoman for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg also declined to comment. News of Costello's pending appearance was first reported by The New York Times."

only one rigging the 2016 election was Comey, by reopening the Hillary case weeks before the election for no reason and concealing the Trump investigation

Trump had dead people voting for him in 2020

And he quickly came out and told everyone that there was nothing to see.

The Trump investigation was concealed because it was illegal.

Will DeSantis do like Pence did when he remained mum leading up to J6 knowing Trump and ilk's plan
and not tell Trump's little soldiers outright he will not be ordering up the National Guard and anyone blocking the arrest of Trump will be arrested and prosecuted to full extent of the law?
Margie Gangreene, Swamp Lake and Granny Boejunk can lead the brigade. lol

Well, I have a choice, I can take your word for it, or that of Nato/Euro alliance, defense and national security professionals. I'll go with the latter, particularly because their 'theory', is far more compelling than your 'theory'.

I don't buy your argument for one second. The many treatises expressed from our Nato/Euro alliance, defense and national security professionals put forth a far more robust and compelling case for Ukraine's sovereignty insofar as it being aligned with US and European strategic interests.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been a major international issue since 2014 when Russia illegally annexed Crimea. The situation has escalated in recent months, with Russian troops amassing on Ukraine's border and reports of increasing violence in eastern Ukraine. In response to this threat, there have been calls for the United States to provide military aid to Ukraine to help it defend itself against Russian aggression.

First and foremost, providing military aid to Ukraine would serve as a deterrent against further Russian aggression. Russia's actions in Ukraine have been a clear violation of international law and a challenge to the post-World War II order that has kept peace in Europe for over 70 years. By standing with Ukraine and providing it with the necessary arms and supplies to defend itself, the United States would send a clear message to Russia that it will not tolerate such aggression against its neighbors. This would serve as a powerful deterrent against further Russian aggression in Ukraine or elsewhere in the region.

Moreover, helping Ukraine defend itself is crucial for promoting stability in the region. The conflict in Ukraine has already resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, and it has the potential to escalate further, destabilizing not only Ukraine but the entire region. Providing Ukraine with the means to defend itself would help to prevent the conflict from spreading and causing more damage. It would also send a message to other countries in the region that the United States is committed to promoting stability and security in the region.

Additionally, helping Ukraine defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity is consistent with US values and international law. The United States has long been a champion of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. By providing military aid to Ukraine, the United States would be standing up for these values and principles, and sending a message to the world that it will not tolerate violations of international law. It would also show that the United States is committed to upholding the territorial integrity of all countries, regardless of their size or power.

In conclusion, helping Ukraine with arms and supplies is of vital US strategic interest. It would serve to deter Russian aggression, promote stability in the region, and uphold international law. It is consistent with US values and principles, and it is in line with the country's long-standing commitment to promoting peace and security around the world. Therefore, the United States should provide military aid to Ukraine to help it defend itself and preserve its sovereignty.

Neither were Ford, Carter, Bush, Bush, Reagan, etc. etc. etc.

Not charging someone for whom there is not credible evidence of criminal activity is how it is supposed to work,

The Loser whining that everybody is being mean to him and being hellbent on his petty vendettas hurts Republicans who would like to focus upon policy matters.

If you find Trump arousing, that is entirely your business.
