https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/17/politics/trump-election-results-decision/index.html Trump is right. You should only respect people who agree with you. Everyone who doesn’t agree with you is either a LIB or a RINO.
I mean that is the Republican mantra anymore, only believe what you want to believe — everything else is “fake nuze”
Nothing new, Trump only hears advice he wants to hear. If he gets elected next year, his administration will consist of a bunch of yes men. Of course, this means that no self-respecting professional will want to work with Trump, since it would be career suicide. Therefore, he would hire a bunch of losers who are fully invested into the Trump train.
TRAITOR tRump’s Lawyers are going to have a unrelenting head ache and sloped heads from slamming their foreheads with their palm’s. Every time he opens his big mouth or uses little hands to post on Truth-So-Called; he makes matters worse and destroys their work.
Literally nothing new here. Of course Trump authorized it. He invented it! And he got rid of anyone in his circle that didn't want to help him push the illusion, or tried to warn him of the consequences. Trying to pretend like Trump is not at the heart of this is like trying to pretend Stephen King didn't know he was writing a fictional story when he wrote The Stand. Of all the people in the universe, Stephen King would be the one who knows with absolute certainly that The Stand is just a story he made up. Just like Donald Trump knows the stolen election was a story he made up. The author of the lie always knows it's a lie.
Actually, that's NOT what he said. He never said it was his decision to overturn election results. The left made that up by filling in their own dots.
Not so much... "The former president said he didn’t listen to his attorneys who told him he had lost the election because he didn’t respect them and that he “respected many others that said the election was rigged.” “I was listening to different people, and when I added it all up, the election was rigged,” Trump told NBC’s Kristen Welker." He added, “You know who I listen to? Myself. I saw what happened.”
When he said that he didn't listen to those who informed him that the election was legit. When he said that he 'listens to himself'...
Say, does that mean the Orange Stain will change his plea in GA to “guilty” to let off the 18 other codefendents ? Take the plea , Fani !
He said he thought the election was rigged. If his plan was not to turn over the results then what was the purpose of the fake electors? What was the purpose of trying to pressure Mike Pence into rejecting the electoral votes from selected states?
"What was the purpose of trying to pressure Mike Pence"? Because it was a law on the books for 135 years called the electoral count act of 1887... Democrats set the precedent when overthrowing democracy.... would you like to talk about it?? George Santyana : "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." ""America needs 37 “faithless electors” from states Trump won"" Looks like they will have to explain the “Hamilton electors,” a group of electors who have sworn not to vote for Trump. https://www.cnn.com/2016/12/15/opinions/faithless-electors-save-america-piro/index.html Meet the 'Hamilton Electors' Hoping for an Electoral College Revolt https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...oping-for-an-electoral-college-revolt/508433/ The last-ditch push for the Electoral College to stop Trump, explained https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...444/electoral-college-trump-hamilton-electors ""The faithless electors who opposed Donald Trump were part of a movement dubbed the "Hamilton Electors" co-founded by Micheal Baca of Colorado and Bret Chiafalo of Washington. The movement attempted to find 37 Republican electors willing to vote for a different Republican in an effort to deny Donald Trump a majority in the Electoral College and force a contingent election in the House of Representatives."" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faithless_electors_in_the_2016_United_States_presidential_election ""A group of so-called “Hamilton Electors” — nine Democrats and one Republican who borrowed the Found Father’s name in a nod toward his call for deliberation — has been working to persuade at least 36 other Republicans to ditch Trump, just enough to block his immediate election and send the contest to the House of Representatives."" https://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/electoral-college-rogue-electors-hamilton-232802 It is the same trick the Democrats tried in 2000, 2004, 2017.... January 6, 2017.... seven House Democrats tried to object to electoral votes from multiple states. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) objected to Alabama's votes. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) objected to Florida's votes. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) objected to Georgia's votes. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) objected to North Carolina's votes. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) objected to the votes from North Carolina in addition to votes from South Carolina and Wisconsin. She also stood up and objected citing "massive voter suppression" after Mississippi's votes were announced. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) brought up allegations of Russian interference in the election and malfunctioning voting machines when she objected following the announcement of Michigan's votes. Maxine Waters (D-Calif) rose and said, "I do not wish to debate. I wish to ask 'Is there one United States senator who will join me in this letter of objection?'" after the announcement of Wyoming's votes. https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-did-democrats-object-more-states-2016-republicans-2020-1561407 https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ho...ion-results-fight-republicans-2020-challenges
And not one elector switched sides and not one Senator joined in the objection. As per Constitutional process. What’s your point ? Are you seriously trying to compare this to a violent mob invading the Capitol and stopping the vote? Seriously?
Problem is that the Hamilton Electors did not forge documents declaring they were the real electors, as the 2020 MAGA electors did, thus your comparison is not a comparison.
No he's trying to compare it to the attempts to pressure Pence into throwing out the votes from the seven "contested states" But ANY comparison he tries to make with the "Faithless Electors" to what happened in the 2020 election are nothing more than trying to compare apples to oranges.
