He’s likely like Kushner — his son in law and presidential advisor — and paid zero federal income taxes, which would explain why he won’t release his tax returns.

During the Obama administration deficits were decreasing every year, Trump reversed this on day one and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Congress isn't in session. How is he planning to accomplish this?

Actually, they are coming back. It would help if you actually woke up and paid attention to what is going on in this country instead being so ignorant.

no, the large assembly lines are being phased out by automation. even warehouses are automated now, it is a thing of the past.

Why would that stop Trump from rolling out a new tax proposal?

I may have misread it, but he is not talking about a proposal. He is looking to roll it out before November.

Manufacturing is manufacturing and still requires jobs, despite upgrades to systems and to the process.

Remember on Election Day...a vote for a Dem is a vote to raise taxes on the working class.

yeah, well you let us know when a company is going to build or refurbish a facility that have to include bathrooms, lunchrooms, parking and every other creature comfort, let alone insurance plans, pension plans, human resources, et al. that or a machine, which are already in use.

If you vote for a Dem in Nov, you are voting to raise taxes on the working class It's that simple. You are voting, against your own self interest, against the ability to keep more of your paycheck, you are simply voting to be poor.

Not nearly as many necessary to be the economic driver it once was. Why employ a warehouse full of people when I can install robots, and employ a small team of maintenance folks? Look at Amazon and all the bad press they are getting because of the conditions their warehouse staff deal with (peeing in bottles to keep up demand).

Your gaining jobs in the hundreds of thousands when you need yearly growth in the millions to catch up.

Who builds the robots and fixes them and programs them? Who runs the lines and shipping departments and accounting and all the other functions?

People were terrified when computers came out and thought the loss of jobs would kill the economy and look what happened. Automating does not mean a loss of jobs overall, it can actually create entirely new fields requiring more and more jobs.

You also have to understand, industry does not change overnight. Change takes time and manufacturing jobs are still very important.

Tax revenue is the blood that sustains Big Government, so all Tax cuts are very good for ordinary Americans.

Congress, not our presidents, has the power of the purse. Congress can cut spending whenever it likes.
