This transformation of the GOP is amazing. It is great to be the party of putting America First. It was a mistake to go all in with globalism and the corporate establishment elites. The GOP becoming the multiracial small business, family farm, working and middle class theistic friendly coalition totally breaks the demographic trap the democrats set and puts them in it.

 

Trump allies continue to win in the primaries shifting the GOP away from the establishment elites and to a party being represented by its actual base instead.

 

We're a long way from that. At best, we'll have a few America first in the House. Right now, we still have not had a replacement for America Firster Jeff Sessions in the Senate, although there are one or two who are half way there. If Vance and Masters win their elections, that will be a change in the Senate of...two votes. So the establishment will still own everything even under a best case scenario.

 

Regardless of November Trump is going to be convicted of insurrection by 2024. I doubt he'll be in jail but even he is not going to ignore a Constitutional Prohibition on his holding any government office in the US.

 

Let’s not forget the progress at the local small city , county, state legislature and Governors levels along with state AG’s. The senate by its nature will be the last preserve of the elites. The house majority will be mostly composed of America First members.

There is no evidence that Hunter or Joe Biden did anything illegal. But we do know Trump did, or at least, allegedly did with China, with his conflicts of interests while being President and owner of his businesses. You may want to look at 5 CFR 2635.402 and 5 CFR 2635.502 for more clarification. Of course, then there is 18 USC 208 which makes these activities, if alleged and charged, criminal. These are the conflicts of interest rules that apply to the executive branch, including the President.

Now, don't get confused that just because Trump was President makes those activities legal. They do not. Just means, according to the 1990 Memo, that he cannot be charged while President. The memo does not mention anything about prior or after being President.

I am. Trumps dealings were above board and legal. When he couldn’t get them to agree to fair trade he imposed tariffs on their products and used some of the money generated from them to compensate domestic farmers impacted by their counter tariffs. China devalued its currency so that their government instead of our consumers paid the tariffs. Any more “but Trump!” for me?

All his machinations to steal the election was for the purpose of not being indicted. He wanted to run out the clock on pending cases. He had/has no interests in being POTUS. He just wanted the perks, none of the responsibilities.
