    I have been trying to figure out what makes Trump supporters "tick".
    How can they remain loyal to one who makes ridiculous claims and breaks promises so easily?
    I think I have it figured out, and will explain via an analogy:

    A travelling circus comes into town, and the carnival barker yells, "Step right up, see the two-headed boy!" (or, "I'll bring back coal jobs")
    So, the local steps up, pays his money, and goes in the tent.
    Trump supporters exit the tent, and come out not angry for being conned, swindled, duped, taken; - but instead are in awe at having seen a two-headed boy.

    Except it's usually not a two-headed live boy, but rather a mummified thing with two heads attached.

    Just having some fun, BB. I think the Vet knows that also.

    Right and left...gotta bust each other's balls or the forum will go out of business.

    We strive for respectful discussion...but the thing that keeps every forum robust...is the chance to bust 'em.

    Yes, that's basically it.

    Trump comes out and says, vote for me and Ill reduce job killing regulations.
    So Americans who want a job, vote for Trump.
    After Trump gets elected he blows up the EPA and writes executive order demanding 2 regulations must come off the books for every new one enacted.

    and Trump supporters rejoice, because they've never seen an elected official keep their promises....

    Its a vastly different experience than what we've experienced lately.

    Remember that time when Obama promised Obamacare was gonna save you money??? Yeah, well so do the American people

    Sounds more like the barking of a Snake Oil salesman claiming his product cures all. Didn't Obama make those same promises during his 2008 campaign? You know the "Fundamental Transformation of America", "you can keep your doctor if you want to keep you doctor", "ACA will save Americans $2,500/year", "ACA will not cost a dime more. Period". But hey, for a veteran that got scammed by LBJ, Obama really suckered, conned, swindled, duped you into believing he was the messiah incarnate.

    Still clueless about what created a change election? Trump supporters, Bernie supporters were fed up with the way both parties stopped representing the interests of working americans. Trump ran on representing these people, which neither party would do. NOW, do you get it?

    Of course not, for you like all dems live in a state of denial. But it is killing your party, and will continue to do so. Dems have depended upon voters who are either left wing faux liberal ideologues, or on the uneducated minority population, who vote for bright colors but who do not understand what neoliberalism, along with the neocons have done to their economic existence. You sir, are just an ideologue, on the wrong side of history, who is disconnected from the reason, the reality of why trump won. And no one can help you to see the obvious, for your mind is enslaved, and hatred is a part of that.

    And yet conservatives had 17 candidates to chose from and Trump was the BEST???? How the hell the right ever fell for this horse and pony show that he represented the blue collar workers of America is beyond me.
