Orange County has always had a significant Latino population.
That, along with the White folks being refugees from the CSA
helped split Orange County from Los Angeles County and stop the Black
population at the county line. Latinos don't seem to appreciate Black people too.
In the 20's revival of the KKK, Orange County had the most active chapter outside the Deep South!

but, they didn't seem to bother the indigenous Latino population in nearby Santa Ana.

Sure, some "educated" Black sorts move here but, really not in any large numbers.

I do know of some very Black Nigerians here and they could not be more pleased with their geographical separation from Black people and their culture.


Meanwhile, Orange County California is surrounded with significant Black population concentrations in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties but they have not appeared in appreciable numbers here.

So you don't have to move to for a statistically longer life span.

It's culture and genetics. Culture in that blacks tend to like high fat high calorie food, have a higher rate of smoking than whites and genetics in that they are prone to certain diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes.
