President Donald Trump said on Thursday he’s considering pulling federal immigration enforcement agents out of California, which declared itself a so-called sanctuary state and limits local police cooperation with U.S. authorities enforcing the president’s immigration policies.

“Frankly, it’s a disgrace, this sanctuary city situation,” Trump said at the White House. If the administration were to remove Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials from California, the state would be “begging” for them to come back, he said. “I’m thinking about doing it.”

I don't think CA would be begging for ICE to come back...do you?

Yea there are is an amount of good people in that State and as much as I think the liberals deserve to live in world they're trying to create I don't want to subject good Americans to the suffering that it would bring.

And moreover I don't want to subject America itself to the fallout that would happen if California became even more of a haven for illegal invasion.

Trump shouldn't pull ICE back, he should increase their numbers exponentially.

Cancer has to be fought with relentless determination, not passively attended to and certainly not ignored.

But I don't think he would pull out ICE anyway, I think hes simply sending a message to Californians.

Their government is putting illegals and criminals ahead of the civil health and safety of the State's residence.

    --

Another reason not to do this is because if ICE withdrew then California would import tens of millions of illegals in the very first week.

They'd send every school bus into Mexico with bullhorns saying "free **** this way".

Because we all know the left's future plans.

When the illegal invader population reaches a certain threshold in California the left is going to make a serious push towards eliminating the Electoral College.

Just secede already. CA is like the 8th biggest economy internationally. If you think Trump is literally Hitler why stay around? Plus this time the national government probably won't start a brutal war and kill 300,000 to prevent them exercising self determination.

It's a win win. Without the rest of the US California could implement whatever absurd policies it likes. Instant citizenship for all people on planet Earth, door to door extrajudicial killings of the bourgeoisie, mandatory gender transitions, whatever you want. All the conservatives will leave for the US.

Everyone can get along just so long as the system is decentralised enough to tolerate it.

Exactly. CA needs to be broken up, it contains a couple Red States, and it is an maritime border.

Sanctuary city laws are putting heroin traffickers back on our streets.

Overdose. Heroin. Opioids. More and more Americans find these words creeping into conversation at their own kitchen tables today.

Our nation’s families and communities are being ravaged by the opioid epidemic. With 115 people dying every day in this country from opioid overdoses, this new reality of suffering and death calls for our deepest focus and most passionate resolve.

Unfortunately, sanctuary city policies often prevent local law enforcement from coordinating with federal law enforcement to deport illegal immigrant heroin traffickers. By depriving them of the ability to work together on the same team, these policies only make our communities more dangerous.
