Trump to flip 11th Circuit to majority GOP-appointed judges

Third appeals court to change majority

Senate Republicans confirmed one of President Trump’s judicial nominees to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Tuesday and will flip the federal appeals court to a majority of Republican-appointed active judges with another confirmation later this week.

It will be the third federal appeals court to be turned to a GOP-majority under the president’s promise to remake the federal judiciary with a conservative bent.

It's too bad Trump and the Republicans managed to switch the majority by appointing and confirming so many dumb cud-chewing hacks whose idea of "good jurisprudence" is grade D religious schools who think Trump knows the Word of God!

I think you will find that Obama nominated judges, the Senate blocked them for entirely partisan reasons. Shameful that Republicans in the Senate were obstructive.

 

Liberal activist judges have no place in US courts. They should move to China where they would feel more at home.

False, Obama nominated every position that he was required to do so but Republicans refused to let anything through — just like they are now doing against the HOR with over 200 bills pending in the senate.

I disliked Obama — but making inaccurate statements about him reek of desperation, he had plenty of legitimate issues to condemn. The Republicans seem to be doing worse than anything they accused Obama of even thinking about.

I would take lackluster over fraud and corruption any day.

 

Garland was a moderate. The most recent ones have all been partisan ideologues.

Courts should be as neutral as possible. That doesn't seem to be an option any longer.
