The sad part about Trump's big lie, is it spurred a slew of voter suppression/restriction laws around the country?!!

If there was voter fraud, Trump would be president now?!!

Current events shouldn't be filled with fake news sources such as Newsmax that link to a 16 page campaign lie fest from a twice impeached, one term loser, insane crybaby bitch.

    Thank you mods in advance.

Someone who is alive and has heard Trump speak and seen his tweets.

    Those aren't Trump's words.

You mean tRump's 12 page spittle-spraying rant? The only thing that "blasts" is the fiction that he can write a coherent sentence.

Saying she believed Barr is not the same as saying her dad lied. She might have thought her dad was sincerely mistaken, for example.

Nah I don’t think y’all are. I think y’all are terrified. That’s why the Dems are doing everything they possibly can to get him charged with some sort of crime which would preclude him from running for office again.

Their words say they welcome a Trump challenge in 2024 but their actions belie the abject fear they have of that outcome.

And they should fear it. I’ll point out to everyone he’s not running on making America great again. He’s running on revenge. And he’s going to win

The notion that he was sincerely mistaken is, or course, utter ****. What's worse? Continuing to assert the "big lie", as many posters here do. Shameful behavior.

    *LOL*

He'll "win" a nice orange jumpsuit. And deserves it.

Will he "win" like he "won" the 2020 election? Run that traitorous scumbag--assuming he'll be eligible to run---and he'll embarrass himself again.

Basically I agree, but on the particular point at issue, it's untrue to say Ivanka said her dad was lying.

Maybe, but it's a silly hill to choose to die on. She didn't actually say it. Pointless argument.

Hardly. And it's a bump, not a hill--nobody's "dying" on it. There's much more evidence in the form of testimony that Bonespurs knew his schtick was nonsense.

Let's not derail the thread any further. I made a limited point, it seems likely we agree on the broad points, there's little point hashing out minutiae unrelated to the basis of the thread.

Well, he won't be able to use the "I am too dumb to stand trial defense", so, he's left with "I can't remember" or "I plead the 5th".

This is exactly why it's impossible for me to take his supporters seriously. Not only does he NOT know how election boards work, he is counting on them not knowing that either. Every state has their own procedure for how ballots are handled so one can't simply look at "four days to count" as some kind of proof of anything other than that's how that state's Election Board works.
Here's the thing. Trump is lying just to con people out of money he isn't even using for what he claims it's for. The fact is unless he has personally opened every ballot in every state, there is no way for him to claim that they had boxes and boxes of ballots for Biden and were stuffing the machines. It would be a conflict of interest for him to be involved in any of that and they just eat it up like that makes sense?
The short answer is "No". The long answer is "Hell no". I have no doubt whatsoever that he had those videos "of proof" released. He is infamous for dropping accusations against anybody and everybody and NEVER, EVER, EVER backing them up. Why would anybody accept a pathological liar's word for anything?

It would be one thing if he was just a stone cold idiot but he is infecting his supporters with his idiocy and they aren't questioning it. How can anybody stand behind a man that KNOWINGLY put a target on his own VP's back ON A LIE? Pence could have been kidnapped or even killed and that doesn't matter to them? Those people went to the Capitol on something he willfully misrepresented. That's crazy. It's even more shocking that they back his dereliction of duty and sided with the criminals over law enforcement. Didn't he claim to be the "law and order POTUS" or is that just when they are shooting black and brown people?

eta: And, I do NOT believe for one second that Trump wrote 12 pages of anything. He doesn't know that many words.

The hearings are exposing the Globalist RINO faction within the Republican Party, and for that I am thankful. Only dimwits will believe the BS that the Dems are trying to push.

I really don't think that the Democrats have thought this situation through. They are drawing attention to their own liars and scoundrels.

Joe Biden is a modern day Andrew Johnson, but unlike Abraham Lincoln, Trump is still very much alive and capable.
