Trump's apology was a farce

Trump's apology for his sexist behavior in 2005 spent about 15 seconds apologizing and most of the rest of the announcement attacking Hillary and Bill Clinton. Trump's mojo of "hitting back" when attacked was in full swing, and he spent most of his "apology" video diverting the dialogue onto the Clintons, as if they were somehow to blame. I'm not only worried about the sanity of Trump and the destructive potential of him as President, I'm equally concerned about the mindless masses supporting him regardless of his complete lack of qualifications for the Presidency, as well as his lack of human values like compassion, respect, honesty, integrity, and a myriad of others. What kind of America do these people support? It seems to be based completely on perceived failures and shortcomings and abjectly devoid of hope. Trump supporters have a world view wholly based on lack, negativity, what's missing and who can we blame? That's a dangerous basis for voting, for it avoids serious attempts at reasonable solutions to problems and accepts and supports thoughtless, simplistic promises that have no chance at working. Trump himself never reveals how he plans to achieve anything. He simply says he'll do it. Hillary tells us how she'll do it, but her detractors are too busy hating her to listen. Yet Hillary's America is one of hope and improvement while Trump's is one of fault-finding, hate, failure, despair and division. I don't understand why these voters can't see that.

I saw his apology and I am not clear how long a person must take to make one. I can say I am sorry in 2 seconds. How long does it take you to apologize?

I expect to see Hillary and Bill renew their wedding vows tomorrow followed by a special showing their intense love and commitment towards each other narrated by Morgan Freeman.

 

Now the media has posted that Donald made some very sexual remarks about some actress.

It is clear to me that the Democrats have the dirty tricks machine in full gear to protect Hillary. She could blow up the white house and be excused for it.

The media wants Hillary. The hated rich appear to want her.

I hope Democrats are willing to stop trashing the rich should she win.

She will no doubt be given an opening to talk of this during the debate.

I quit the democrat party, in part due to their dirty tricks.

I can fix this for the lefties to feel comfortable. Trump didn't inhale nor did he have sexual relations with that woman.

The apology was as genuine as a 3 dollar bill.

 

Every single Trump supporter will come out and vote for him regardless of this.
That will get him about 40 million votes. The other 25 million or so he needs to win won't vote for him anymore.
That has always been his problem, independent voters. They are the ones he keeps offending.

You do not have to measure an apology in time spent talking but make it honest, contrite, and do not justify your sins because others may have done something similar.

You don't get much more unqualified to be president than that. So perhaps the next time you study presidents you will pay attention to -- you know -- actual history.
