I think it's a pretty solid list, and with the exception of DeSantis, who the left absolutely hates, the remaining 5 would be hard for liberals to attack without getting a good dose of isms and ists thrown in their faces (what goes around comes around)

I would be content with anyone on the below list.

I don't think that it will be any of them. I predict Stefanik

I recommend Bill O'Reilly for Trump's running mate.

DeSantis already said that he is out, although as power hungry as he is, that may not mean much.

From the rest of the list, it seems that Scott is furthest up Trump's behind, so he'll have a chance.

However, I think it will be Stefanik. She's been trying hard to play the Trump loyalty card, and that's what counts most to him.

What about Hannity? He is much more of a lookalike with the orange spray tan.

Do you vote based on a candidate's looks?

Hannity would be a better fit

I don't. But you seem to base your vote on who is best at spouting RW talking points on RW media outlets.

Bill O'Reilly, as an independent, only reports what he can prove. But, he does have a strong opinion, which I sometimes agree with. You are right about how I base my vote. I would never vote for a candidate spouting LW talking points on LW media outlets -- which covers 99% of the democrat candidates and 99% of the media outlets.
One important fact about Hannity and O'Reilly -- they will invite LW'ers on their programs to give their side of an issue, but you will rarely see LW'ers invite RW'ers on their programs.

I thought O'Reilly was dead. He is still alive?

It would be pretty funny if Trump chose Tulsi Gabbard and then for whatever reason left and she became president as a Republican, after failing as a Democrat.

    Sarah Huckabee or Tim Scott.

The Advantage of Tim Scott is then DeSantis can appoint himself to Scott's Senate Seat

Or Tim Scott. Then I'd like to see DeSantis nominate himself to his vacant Senate Seat.

I think Tim Scott for VP, and, if Trump wins, Tulsi Gabbard for Secretary of Defense.

Here's hoping Vivek or Tulsi. Whichever it is, the other def needs to be in his cabinet anyway.

That won't stop them. Did it with Sarah Palin? Justice Thomas? They'll call Tim Scott an "Uncle Tom". If we are letting them affect our choice for a candidate, we've already lost. That's what we did with McCain and Romney.

Top Contenders for Trump Running Mate Audition on CPAC Main Stage

'Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott.'

That's a solid list, I'd like to see Sarah Huckabee on it.

You can appoint yourself? That seems a bit messed up, no?

You think exercising Constitutionally granted authority is "messed up"?

If it means you can appoint yourself to positions of power, yes. That would be a pretty messed up constitution.

Well, work to change it, accept it, or move. We have the right to our State Constitutions and that's the way most States have it set up.

I am lucky not to live in a place so corrupt as to allow people to appoint themselves to positions of power.
