    Agree, or not, it appears to be legal. Surely you don't think Trump is the first person to do that? Whatever he did. If he did anything at all.

    That why rich people create charities and foundations. Like the Clinton Foundation.

    Then why are you not angry at government for writing the tax laws. The underfunded IRS audited me twice in the past 6 years and I'm not even wealthy. No additional tax required on both audits. I can't imagine feeling sorry for the IRS.

    They are auditing middle class people because their budgets have not allowed them to have auditing teams large enough to go after the very wealthy or large corporations.

    There have been several congressional hearings on this which led to the massive increase in their budget after being slashed for years.

    You realize he probably paid more in taxes in 2020 than you'll pay in your entire life right? There's a lot of other means of taxation beyond income tax. The depreciation deduction is in place to entic people to invest in real estate which can be a risky investment.
