Looking at the Governors of CA, OR, WA, NY, I’d probably agree with you.

Did the leader of NZ have house speakers and a mayor of a large city tell people to go out on the town? Did the leader of NZ stick the elderly in homes where 40% of the china virus deaths occurred? Did the leaders (plural) of NZ go to fancy eateries, fly on planes, go to Cabo, get haircuts or do all the things they told their people not to do thereby setting a bad example? Did NZ have riots, looting and arson go unchecked even though there were social distancing orders at the time? Guess who did?

He will likely be better remembered for the absolute shambles he left the Govt from when he started. The State Dept is gutted. Over half the experience diplomats left. Many multiple agencies without a head because he didn't care enough to nominate one (and at least one board can't meet because their aren't enough appointees for a quorum), he managed to destroy a level of goodwill amongst international partners that took centuries to cultivate, he railed against China (good) yet his crappy trade war only increased the trade deficit and required a socialistic bailout of Farmers to help with the unintended consequences, and pulled out of the TPP which was designed to box out China.

Their is a giant list of his screw ups and terrible decisions so I'll go the other way.

The few things Trump did that I liked.

    1) Brought China's BS to the world view. Helped keep them out of the 5G market (which I believe helped my own terrible PM to not decide yes, which forced contractors to go with approved vendors, ultimately saying No without saying No)

    2) Prison reform.

    3) The USMCA which strengthened the labor side (and helped my Country out with a better deal then NAFTA and only had to give up a slight portion more of our dairy market)

    4) Transparency of Health Care Providers - Adding to the forced transparency of the costs of procedures of each hospital, this helps competition in the market place.

    5) his middle East peace. Even if it's because of Kushner trying to sell Nuclear Reactors to SA and UAE, it's still happening.

So yeah, off the top of my head. 5 good things Trump did.

    AKA Democrats?

My friend, it's your (plural) job to bash the Republican President, and you (plural) have exceeded at it. Still, was it not for your (plural) enlistment of Chinese virus as an ally, President Biden be an oxymoron still.

    And Trump vaccine, too!

"Millions of Americans have begun the process of inoculation, leading to an eventual reality where COVID-19 becomes a bad memory. The speed of this achievement defied skeptics and amazed scientists everywhere. Along with the brilliant government researchers and innovative private sector pharmaceutical companies, President Trump deserves enormous credit for his inspiring leadership of Operation Warp Speed."

The liberal brain is very different from the Conservative brain but remembers the same things. What else is different is what the Liberal brain commands its mouth to say and it's finger to type.

So, yes, President Trump will be remembered for all the good he did for this country by everybody, but it will not be acknowledged by the enlightened Liberals.

    A scientific fact! :oldman:

Why didn’t you say that he’s even more racist than George Wallace, David Duke, or the average right wing poster here on pf?

What’s the book called? Is it racist because it is racist or is it racist because the guy who praised promoting ethnic-nationalism thinks it’s racist?

No But Australia, which has had more outbreaks than NZ Has managed it more effectively. The things you are citing are stuff ups sure, but they are urinating into the wind compared to the explosion in the sewerage farm that was the overall federal response in the USA

    1) the whole underpinning purpose of lockdowns is so healthcare can perform “track and trace” which is what we are doing on the Sydney and Melbourne clusters at the moment
    2) there has to be a co ordinated federal response especially in relation to rolling out support gear such as test kits and medical support equipment - both issues the Trump administration failed miserably on
    3) Leaders should lead by example and Trump hasn’t

The proof of all of this is your number of infected and your trashed economy.

What did he actually do other than call impotently for what was already happening and guaranteed to be? Did you really not notice that he only began to call for a rush for a vaccine when the effort was already starting and his rants for "herd mentality" and "high cases are due to much testing" and "it will vanish on November 5th" had all been fully exposed for the dangerous insanity they were?

And the stuff ups have begun in the rollout already

only one tenth of the promised number have been vaccinated and that is down to the stuff up in the federal response

    And where is Trump?

    We'll never know.

But we both know one thing: this is the third time in a row that voters have chosen a Democrat to pick up the mess left behind by a Republican President.

Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump.

    That's saying something.

And if Biden wins a second term, voters will have chosen a Democrat 16 years out of 20 since 2008.

    That means something too.

    Lol your hilarious.

"The liberal brain will never acknowledge the good he has done"

As a reply to a post where I Literally make the effort to point out 5 legitimately good things about him.

Thank you for the quintessential partisan Conservative who's brain Literally blanks out anything that disrupts their world view, even if its in the same paragraph as stuff it agrees with.

Also, everything I said in the first bit is factually accurate.
