There is a political (you might say legal) reason to object to same sex marriage.
It is proper to oppose having the sate recognize the validity, or legitimacy of gay pairings.
It is not legitimate to prevent Jews from supporting Israel, but it is not illegal to say that they should not support Israel.
Similarly it is not illegal for gays to live together, but society/government does not have to give the air of legitimacy to gay partner ships by establishing married status for gays.
There is no practical right gays do not have already. What they don't have yet is government/societal legitimization of their pairings through establishing the legal frame work of marriage for gays.
That is why I oppose "legalization" of gay marriage. It would not be legalizing anything. Their pairings are already legal. What it would be would be government/society putting the stamp of legitimacy on their parings.
Let me say that again, "gay marriage" would not legalize anything. The whole issue is about government using establishment of a legal status to send a signal that gay pairings are legitimate. It is government establishing a moral code.
Government has established a moral coed that heterosexual marriage is moral. Government/society has no constitutional obligation to define wife beating or gay coupelings as moral.:salute:

Right on!. What was the fine that baker got for refusing to bake a gay wedding cake? $130,000?
Gays are way out of line here. As Machiaveli said, men progress from being persecuted (making gay sex illegal) to persecuting (handing out big fines to people who don't want to participate in their weddings.)
Gays are the biggest bully boys out there now.:salute:

I'm glad you thought that was the "funny part"! For me the whole thing was like the plot of a really bad porn movie.

Colombine's tag line: It's like if I quoted the American Nazi Party and tried to claim that they're the definitive source of information about Jews because they're the ones "dealing with the problem"...

Don't laugh. It's an old CIA gambit to ask someone's enemies about them. Like if you wanted info about "The Jooos" don't just go to the ADL web site. :):salute:

There is no law that says this man has a right to have his ad aired. Stop the madness. If that was the case anyone has a right to force ANY TV station to air whatever they want. It doesn't work like that.

Correct, TV Stations are in it for the money and nothing more, whatever sells is what is broadcast and once interest dies down they move on to the latest topic of the day, just once I would like to see a station simply report the news and the facts behind the story and just leave it to us to decide what is what, not gonna happen.

And how many people will get fired or suspended?

NO ONE has "forced homosexual marriage on them"!

Although more than a few of our prominent Republicans were to be likely being APPEARING to be having other men "forcing" sex upon them, the fact that these guys were on thier knees in an airport bathroom or motel room makes it unlikely to have been non-consensual!

Courts haven't been forcing same sex marriage on states that do not want it? But you already know that and instead of addressing that fact you play partisan games. Keep it up, that and you capitalization let's me know you really don't have anything of value to add.

That's not true. Washington, Eisenhower, JFK, Roosevelt to name a few, were fine presidents, except for the Viet Nam War.

Yes, the station has the right not to air it. However, they are not free from criticism for doing so neither are they free from boycotts. Seems you want the station to have the right not to air it, but then don't think it is right they get boycotted. Sorry that is freedom in both ways.

It's not something I would personally boycott as there are many many other mediums out there for media like this, but then again I also don't care when a store says "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" and vice versa.

How is it a "partisan game" that NO ONE is FORCED to get gay married?

The ONLY "partisan game" game being played here is people like yourself who hate freedom in the USA by you telling other people who they are NOT allowed to choose who they wish to marry.

    Sorry, You lose.

Your post was some bull (*)(*)(*)(*) about republicans on their knees, so yes partisan games.and you continue to ignore what I've actually said. Of course that's par for the course when dealing with liberals. I wonder are they incapable of comprehending or just refusing to hear.

That is debatable, many would disagree with your assessment, I notice you said "fine", this country does not need "fine" men or women leading it, that is what got us where we are.
