    Hence the call to remove 230 protections from them for years. Perhaps now that Musk has the helm, they will return to being a simple untility that isn't interested in editorializing and publication. I would assert that at places like FB, Google, Apple, these processes still exist, and likely cases must now be brought against them to challenge the attribution of 230 for their businesses.

    Since we've seen the monetization of these platforms, it's difficult to argue that simple utility exists anymore. As advertising editorializes, they create the impetus for the platforms. Perhaps we should attach the advertisers as well in these suits.

    So, you seem to proclaim that platforms like twitter et al are media platforms. So, you'd agree then that they shouldn't be utilities, and their 230 protections entirely removed. Right?

    This shows you absolutely do not watch Fox news at all. Not saying they aren't right leaning with their own bias, however nearly Each news segment has at least 1 Democrat contributor. Donna Brazile, Herold Ford Jr., Juan Williams, Jessica Tarlov, Richard Fowler and many others who add to balance to each segment.

    You should honestly get out of your "liberal bubble" and watch opposing news sources to give yourself some balance of alternate view points. I do, as each side generally reports with bias, hence why I appreciate Fox adding Democrat perspective on each segment to attempt to balance the narrative. And avoid opinion places like Maddow, Tucker and Lemon.

    Then it is still an apt analogy because it's not like Twitter didn't and doesn't have conservatives on it either. And you're right, you can't count the opinions of commentators paid to give their opinions in the same way you do the slant of general news reporting.

    But I don't really watch any news at all, left or right-wing. In this era where everything is a video, I still prefer to read my news.
