Twitter suspends GOP congresswoman after she tweets 'He is Risen'

For millennia, Christians have declared "He is risen," celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It's a common greeting on Easter, but Twitter didn't seem to tolerate it on Sunday, suspending the account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., after she wrote, "Happy Easter, everyone! He is risen."

The censorship of Twitter knows no bounds. They target conservatives and Christians on a regular basis. It is typical on social media to target pro God posts and articles for deletion and censorship. An Easter Twitter being targeted for expressing the true meaning of the day is a bridge too far.

 

I think that Twitter did it as much because of who it was that sent it, compared to what was expressed.

 

Yup - that was the only twitter post she's ever posted, so that must be the reason she was suspended.

They said it was a mistake. It’s active already.

 

So the real reason Twitter censored her Easter message is?

 

And yet as usual these mistakes always go one way affecting conservatives.

My guess is that those same people are likely the ones who mass-report conservative posts so that the twitter algorithms automatically lock up an account.

It always seems to upset you when the left is called out. Why don't those pesky republicans stay quiet while the left bans, cancels, and silences the opposition. Otherwise, let's call it drama to attempt to belittle their concerns.

Because the OAN is geared towards conservatives, but your post suggests Twitter is geared towards liberals and you approve.

But you really have a good idea with Olberman getting a show on OAN. Could you imagine the damage he's do to the left if he had a large audience and spouted his insanity 5 times a week?

 

I'm beginning to believe that instead of watching or reading the news, some of the folks from the Right side of PF go in search of things that will further their victimhood status. This is another example.

I had it happen on a site a bit similar to this one but even way more heavily moderated than here.

They do not all just happen to Christians and conservatives. Christians and conservatives are just the ones that whine about it and make a huge big deal about it

Twitter reversed the suspension an hour later and admitted the error.

Later, the company announced the suspension was "in error."

 

Snowflakes need something to be upset about, it is in their very nature
