Yeah! ain't that the truth. I think this point going onward, people around the world should expect a lot of Garbage that's Made in China, I wouldn't trust a Damn thing that comes out of that country.

The scary thing about that statement is it seems the left wants to allow them to, just to spite Trump. They seem to love China and the WHO.

what happen is countries ask china ship it ASAP without worry about QC or other stuff. its same with test kit, countries buying it ASAP, and china basically said dont blame them if something is faulty. So now its up to the buyer to do the QC. if the seller/custom doing all the QC, it will basically delay these product for week to months, which hospital can't afford it. so either buy it and do the QC yourself or dont buy it at all or wait extra few month to get the products. most place buy it then do the QC themself rather than wait.

so if they ship it fast, and something is faulty ppl blame them, if they do the QC check and delay the shipping process, ppl blame them.

I read your post and don't get what PPE gear shipped to the US has to do with Covid tests shipped to the UK. Two different products for two different countries. Are you that desperate to defend China that you would conflate the two? China has developed a pattern in just since the pandemic has started in passing off bogus PPE equipment and tests. There is a reason for that deserved reputation taht they have built for themselves.

read my previous post, china also ship test kit, but they dont do the QC check anymore, cause buyer want it ASAP rather than wait for month. it mention it near the bottom.

not defend them if you dont want it, just dont buy it, no body forcing it, its your $$$. ppl complain it, say its not fast or faulty than just do it yourself rather than bitching it.

It;s not that simple. We have moved most of the medical manufacturing to China over the decades. They are the only game in town that can handle the bulk that we need. If they sell it then it should work. We need to work on bringing this manufacturing home and that is something that Trump has been trying to do but has met with massive resistance from the Democrats and the press. Now it's biting us in the ass. Obama gave up. He threw his hands in the air rather than trying to fix it.

its the demand right now, we have med and ppe maker here in the US. for example most purel hand sanitizer, toilet paper are made in USA. but due to 10-30 times demand, no one can keep it up. right now hospital buying PPE from anywhere and shipped ASAP, and do the QC check themself. I bought some hand soap thats made it here in USA, but the pump doesn't work well, i think the manufacture basically skim through the QC process, thus we are getting lower quality products. In normal time i'm sure it will work well, but desperate time desperate measure.

That is such a short sighted view of the situation. It's a lot more than toilet paper and hand sanitizer. I can see why one would want to minimize the situation because it makes your argument so much simpler and easier to handle intellectually but it's a lot larger than just hand sanitizer and toilet paper. It might require some actual critical thinking to get beyond the simple issues. Good luck with that.
