The territory inside is controlled by the Ukrainian military. Outside airfield surrounded not less than 2 thousand locals. Having risen along a fence from a barbed wire, inhabitants of Kramatorsk shout the military seen in the depth of the territory: "Bandera, bring down home! At whom you are going to shoot? ! At whom shot? ! " Also is confirmed that in the sky the Ukrainian fighter which was letting out "thermal traps" which were apprehended by local population as combat missiles flied in the afternoon. No planes and helicopters were brought down. As we also reported earlier today in vicinities of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk there were no fights and air raids, there was only one firefight, is far behind city boundaries at the airport. This is probably the real reason why the west is claiming the "victory" of a federalization agreement. They've tested Ukraine's military and it was found wanting even without Russian military involvement, so NATO is deciding that Ukraine isn't worth the effort. Which was clear to many observers from the beginning. Edit: While I realize there are Russian specialists in eastern Ukraine, there are also western specialists there, so it doesn't really count for anything.
This is good. The most exciting news would be if some of the units had arrested the Maidan leaders and brought them to the eastern half of the country for questioning. I hope the may happen later on.
