    Funny photo from elections. Looks like ballots automatically align themselves when they fall in ballot box :wink:

    There is an article in MSNBC News: http://news.msn.com/world/ukraine-election-draws-high-turnout-voters-blocked-in-fearful-east
    "Fearful" east, voters blocked, the article wants to tell us that these elections have a purpose of enforcing ties with the West. Nothning about "Novorossia". Ukraine, as we know of it now, have never won its independence. It was declared without referendums or voting. Only now, people began realizing incompatibility of west Ukrainian nationalism with traditional values of southeastern Ukraine. A new president have to deal with the same problem. NATO will not get approval from majority of Ukrainians.

    From most recent news it becomes clear that Pyotr Poroshenko is winning. He said he would talk to Moscow, but would not recognize Crimea. I hope Crimea would not recognize him, as well as others, who does not recognize Crimea.

    This one seems convenient.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Fact 6
    The self-proclaimed governments of Donetsk and Lugansk said they would derail the election in their respective regions. But it will be considered valid anyway by Kiev. Actually, it will be considered valid even if it takes place in one constituency only. The new authorities amended the election bill to remove the minimum turnout requirement.
    The usurpers have gone against the existing Ukrainian law during this entire process.
    Eliminate your own political competition, even if you have to chase them out of the country with guns, have another election where they are no longer on the ballot, then right back to good old democracy! Hooray for voting!
    I wonder how long before this guy "must go" and the US tryto get rid of him.
    He has factories in Russia, so he'll do what Yunukovich did, pretend to be with the West, while he continues contact with Russia. It can't be any other way considering Ukraine's economic dependency. Of course he might be an idiot, and decide to continue the stupidities of the junta and keep fighting Novorussiya...which will bring Russia into the war. Ukraine has been given a warning by Moscow to stop the killing, and just to let Kiev know they mean business, it has returned its troops to the border.
    Yes we get it in the world of fascist supporters of Putin's imperialistic expansion through military conquest, referendums for annexation monitored by anti-EU Nazi's and Communists and conducted through a occupation installed government under a foreign military occupation in which the majority of the population is not allowed to vote is valid but an election conducted under neutral UN observers is invalid and your evidence for this is the Russian separatists blocking people from voting by force and intimidation. Touche. :roll:
    The Chocolate King may find himself on a shorter leash than he would like.
    From Moon's linked article:
    Fact 1
    Presidential powers were considerably reduced in favor of the parliament right after the coup in Kiev. Oligarch Petr Poroshenko is likely to win office, according to public opinion polls. But after swearing an oath he, lacking his own party in the parliament, may find himself deadlocked on governmental decisions with Batkivschina (Fatherland) Party. Batkivshchina has strong contingent of MPs and is headed by Poroshenko’s main competitor, Yulia Tymoshenko.
