Hard to imagine the Taliban not taking control of the country once we complete our troop pull out. We might end up having to stay if they conquest to fast before Sept. 11, it will be in the news cycle so I think our politicians will have to respond. If they wait until after the pull out nobody will care.

The Taliban will run that hell-hole again, since the Pakistanis love 'em let them deal with it.

I agree, but if they advance to fast before we pull out the MSM will be all over it and before you know it protecting their government from collapse will be our problem again. If they just wait a few months to advance until we are gone nobody will care.

I hope Pakistan is ready. Their border has been used for terrorist logistics for decades. There is going to be a large number of armed terrorists who have no one left to fight. Ask Assad how that went. And if OBL's choice of a homestead is any indication, some of those terrorists are going to have bonds with the Pakistani military.
