This is a typical act of Zionist Jews to time their most brutal attack on Palestinian Arab at this time of the year. Hoping most Christians would be too busy enjoying themselves to notice Zionists Jews inhumane /criminal activities

UN condemns Christmas Eve demolitions of Palestinian homes by Israel

"The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian refugees has condemned Israel's demolition of Palestinian Bedouin dwellings in the West Bank, calling for an immediate halt.

"UNRWA condemns the latest demolitions in the West Bank, which displaced 68 people, the most recent of which occurred on Christmas Eve," spokesman Chris Gunness said in a statement.

“The demolitions took place in Ein Ayoub near Ramallah and Fasayil al-Wusta near Jericho in the Jordan valley with 61 persons displaced in Ein Ayoub, and seven persons, all refugees, displaced in Fasayil al-Wusta," Gunness said. He added that 32 of those displaced were children, "including a five year old girl who is paralyzed from the waist down."

“In addition, some 750 head of sheep and goats are without shelter at this crucial lambing season,” he said.

Gunness stated that at least 663 Palestinian buildings - including 259 homes - have been demolished, and 1,103 Palestinians have been displaced in the West Bank and East Jerusalem this year.

The spokesman urged Israel to obey international laws and halt demolitions.

Israel maintains that it only dismantles buildings that were put up without permission. But Palestinians say they are almost never granted permits.

The UN has continuously spoken out against demolitions in the West Bank. Earlier in December, the United Nations decried Israel’s decision to destroy over two dozen Palestinian properties in the West Bank, issuing a statement accusing Israel of pushing the same Palestinian families out of their homes in less than two weeks.

Moreover, dozens of NGOs have asked Israel not to continue the demolitions. Palestinian leaders maintain that resettlement efforts must cease if there is ever to be any chance of peace with Israel.

“Demolitions often occur to facilitate the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements, with 60 percent of demolitions occurring in Palestinian communities close to settlement zones,” Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Oxfam, and other rights groups declared in a joint statement earlier in December.

FYI - The only Goose stepping which appeals to me , is when a goose/gander - WOT ? - step (or is put) into an oven for roasting.- and afterwards served with broccoli /roasted potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with a light sprinkle of mint sauce . accompanied by several glasses of full bodied Burgundy/or Barolo .etc.

    = Heaven -

Oh I got it but it is you who doesn't. It could have been an non Zionist Arab Christian or Islamic Arab or Israeli Atheist who did these actions so stating it was a "Zionist Jew" is false and misleading.

Says the Holocaust denier when cornered.

My head is clear, that's why it's fun and easy to rip your hate posts apart in seconds.:roflol:

Jews. Jews of the most evil kind - 'Zionist Jews.' Couldn't just leave it to the facts that Israel demolished homes that had no permits.

    Greetings,

Whoever would have done it it would have been evil. It's evil to deny people permits to have a home and then demolish them under the premise of not having a permit. The fact that an occupying force is telling native people of a land where they can and can't live is suspicious at best.

    Greetings,

They have been denied for generations therefore I'm not surprised that they do not apply for them. They also have to cross into Israel to apply for them which is a process that can be arduous and degrading at best if they are allowed to cross.

Nice sleight of hand. Drew being disingenuous?... Nah, not a chance:

"The reason for the destruction? Quite simply, the houses don’t have permits. And without a permit, your house is illegal, and therefore subject to demolition. It is this bureaucratic logic that gives Israel’s practice of bulldozing Palestinian homes a veneer of legitimacy, for, after all, only “illegal” houses are demolished. Look a bit further, however, and it quickly becomes apparent that building permits are nearly impossible for Palestinians to obtain, so in fact, any new growth homes are usually illegal."

actually an occupying force telling inhabitants where they can live, when they can go out, etc. is EXACTLY what happens with all military occupations.
    Ain't suspicious in the least.

As to tearing down homes that were built with no permit that is a fairly universal civic law.
That the Israelis refuse to issue building permits is another matter entirely and for the most part should be roundly condemned. Not that they actually give a crap.

And to counter it you offer "Diaries: Live from Palestine":roflol:

Logic? Time for them to apply for permits and build their shacks to code!

Harvard Israel Review is a right-wing propaganda rag. Is it any wonder you put so much credence in it?

Even when I hate writing the following, to me, the idea of a "sovereign nation inside another sovereign nation" is something that never will work, and by consequence, if current Palestinians won't assimilate to the State of Israel, then they must be removed.

I feel great pain for the innocent victims of the demolition of houses, I myself would never wish to have such an experience, but it is happening as a consequence of Palestine leaders never capable to admit that the State of Israel is a solid fact, not so, as they pretend to think, a temporary occupation.

The world must recognize that the State of Israel must look for the best for its citizens first, and that others living between the borders of Israel must comply with the government in charge. Otherwise, peace won't be reached.

Was that the one resulting from the bombing of the terrorist facilities in Khan Younis and al-Bureij? If so, the UN wouldn't comment I'm sure as Hamas admits they were training camps. Possibly in the future they need to keep children away from their bombs and guns.

And you are pathetic with no sense of reality. Reality dictates that when an enemy has your destruction as the core of their foreign policy and is committed to use your civilians as victims for their insanity and forfeit their own children as human shields it comes down to who your government is going to protect - theirs or yours. You expect Israel to allow carte blanche to these terrorist murderers simply because of what exactly?

Any excuse is justifiable right? IMO, Israel has shown less and less credibility every day and it's no more or less theocratic than the other M.E states. If we really need its alliance, I want to take the path of the Ottoman Empire and just enslave that entire region. Who knows, being adopted to US. cultures and languages may be the only way for peace.
