    Can any russian comment on these videos? Is this mostly how things are in Russia?
    Why are incomes so low? Why is there so much inflation? What needs to be done to make things better?

    Seriously, a lot of Russians suffer a bleak existence. And this will continue, in my view, as long as this administration is in charge.

    The actions? I’m afraid it would take many pages to list them all ;) This is a commonplace - Firstly, it’s necessary to put an end to the total corruption and stealing. Put into prison a lot of Russian tops (so-called new “elite”), their cocksu^kers-junior partners in crime and some other odious persons. ;)
    The govt should spend more money on social programs. Provide a real social politics. Now many social programs don’t work. It’s just a window dressing.
    Also drugs and alcohol are killing Russia. This is an acute problem. We have to toughen our position on this issue.
    Unfortunately it’s an utopia. The f-ing kleptocrats get a benefit from the situation in the country.

    I thought I was called PropragandaMachine people!! Honestly though I've only ever been in Moscow and St. Petersburg. I imagine there is some level of corruption in the elections and my Russian friend always told me that the oligarch mafia has a big influence in politics, but I don't really know. For some reason I don't think they went about privatization of industry quite right and the result is that its been sucking money out of the country. I'd have to do some more research though. It would be interesting to go to a smaller town to be sure. Anyway I'm not Russian so I'm guessing you don't want my opinion.

    The Russian privatization’s a very interesting topic as well.
    From 1992 to 2003 the Russian budget got only about $10 billion frоm privatization of 145,000 (!) Russian enterprises, according to the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. In 2003 tourists from Russia spent the same sum abroad.

    Well, If You wanna know the situation is completely different of what has been in the 90s. The good thing is that it is possible to find jobs somewhere except for Moscow. I myself after the university had to leave from the university without achieving a scientific degree. Just because I couldn't make it for such a small sum of money. But since that time (think it was 2005) the salary for university professors and young scientists expanded a lot. As for the doctors I am not as sure, but it is a completely different problem. It is not about the salaries and more about the corruption.

    Corruption exists in Russia, like everywhere else in the world. I wouldn't say that it is a record, but it has grown into a tradition, so changing the government will not be of any help. I myself have never given or taken any bribes. Even to the road police. Life is much better now than it was 5 years ago. But we expect the crisis to come. (So far we haven't seen much problems because of the crisis, it was only the growth that went a little slower in Russia). So russians lived very badly in the 90s, started to feel obviously better in the year 2001-2002 and at the moment every russian knows that he lives much better than years before. And the success is really connected with the name of our President, however, there is no any attitude like it was during Stalin time or time of Russian empire.

    The mordern campaign against Putin is not because russians don't like him. It's because some other governments don't like him.

    Before we criticize the Russian leadership, we should examine the situation they inherited and are struggling to overcome:

    1. There is internal administrative sabotage, as in the case of the deliberately caused explosion at Chernobyl, and the massive looting that has taken place under "democracy";
    2. It was the intent of a certain powerful group to break up Russia, a portion of which they accomplished;
    3. President Putin was expected to continue the breakup of Russia, but He instead worked to save Russia and has incurred their wrath and plots to destroy him and Russia;
    4. So, when one starts from an almost destroyed nation, beset by many problems internal and external, it takes time to over come them and still deal with the very real threats from HATO, USA, Saudis & Israelis.
