Unionize College Football?

    What's the thought around here about that? I'm not seeing it working out, lotsa smaller schools might have to give up the sport. And how do you contain it, the basketball guys will want their cut, and what about the women? How can you pay the guys playing the money making sports but not all the rest?

    They already get paid.... with a free education.... it's not the school's fault student athletes choose to take a bunch of PE type classes while hoping to get drafted by the NFL.

    That's the problem.... too many times, you have kids that think they are going to get drafted, and fart away the free education, then, if they DON'T get drafted, they then have NOTHING.

    No education, despite being there for 4, maybe 5 years, and now, the education isn't free.


    Now whyile I agree, no injury related to the game or practice or training, should be for the kid to pay for, if they do, that's not a unionizing problem.... that's for something else to enforce.
