Recent US attack on Syrian government clearly shows that Trump shouldn't have been elected. but if you look at the other side.. worse thing could have happened.

US is impossible. United States is not a state capable of right judgement.

Any leader of United States would create war. Any leader of United States would massacre bunch of people all over the world.

For this crisis, I just hope Syria and Russia just take the losses to avoid any further escalation of crisis.

Nations all over the world including North Korea should be patient with United States.

United States is not a normal nation. Its a mentally ill nation.

US should be thought of as a mentally ill patient.

OMG, as I am saying this I am really thinking the end of the world could really come.

This is expressed in crude form, and from a nation that's just about as "mentally ill", but it has, I am afraid to say so, a solid kernel of thruth.

From an outsider's POV, life in the USA doesn't make anymore sense. Imagine if I were a foreign enemy of the US, how easy it would be for me to fill a phonebook-sized document with everything crazy, criminal or unfair that happens in the US, daily.

NK i can't tell so much, because the truth is I have no idea how people live out there. All I got is our own quite dense propaganda about it.

I find it funny how you say we as a nation are mentally ill and we are a horrible nation. It's funny it's not like almost everyone in the world is trying to come here for the American Dream that the American left is constantly trying to destroy. It's almost as if public opinion on the world stage is very different.

If your fear of "the end of the world" is sincere, and, not just rhetorical hyperbole, perhaps direct your appeals to Kim Jung, and Khomeini.

Stop giving credence to those who thing there are more than 2 genders, that there is some wage game between the 2, that we think we can tax our way into prosperity, that think socialism is viable "this time around", and maybe we wont get such a swing in the wrong direction. Rand Paul, 2020. Great time to elect an eye doctor.

Yup, the U.S. was heading for disaster in 1910, 1920. It was war on workers. Children were used and their little fingers were worked to the bone. People died for the capitalists' profits though unwillingly. The Pinkertons were hired to suppress unions and workers by shooting them dead.

Then the disaster happened with the G.D.

    Capitalism was destroying us.

Then came FDR. He told the capitalist that they either had to fork over lots more money in taxes to fix things and appease the workers or the Communist Party, which was very popular and very strong, had a very different plan for them. They relented and the New Deal happened: workers rights, 40 hour work week, vacation time, right to organize, Social Security, and a long list of other improvements.

FDR first asked for a cap on income by asking for a 100% income tax above a certain level. He settled for a 91% top bracket. Later he boasted that he had saved capitalism.

And the U.S. had 30 years of good economy and a rising middle class afterward.

Now the hard times are returning and once again the right blames the left who saved capitalism in 1943.

What 'American Dream'? That fantasy train left the station. Public opinion of America is at an all-time low, helped to a large extent by the election of a political retard.

It is the left pushing globalism, shipping jobs out and bringing cheap labor in. It is the left pushing for regulations that are killing the middle class and taking what they can from the productive class as they come up with more and more freebies as they push their bread and circuses onto a complacent populous. It is the left who is trying to crush society with all their social engineering in order to divide the people. It is the left who are drugging half of school age boys and try to feminize them in order to better to make them complacent sheep.

I thought you on the right claimed that the left is against capitalism, and yet now, here you are, accusing the left of promoting the advantages to mega-capitalists' international corporations moving overseas for cheap labor. LOL!!! It's the left that has been against job-killing trade agreements! Is the problem that you can't decide what your accusation should be, or that you just try to use anything that comes up to attack the left?

Wow, that's a mouthful. Yup, you really are full of it. The middle class is being destroyed by flat wages since 1970 while you applaud the great profits and the huge increases in productivity of your favorite big corporations and you call for eliminating the minimum wage! You're the ones who cheer for Trump's new orders that allow the coal industry to dump toxic coal mining waste directly into streams and rivers.

"Productive class"???? It's the working class that is the "productive class".

Give some examples of what you're referring to.

Yep, the left, or should I say Democrats, use to care about the working class, but no more. I use to fight the Republicans about free trade agreements, but now it's the Democrats who are pushing them the most. Both parties have allowed millions of illegals into the country to provide cheap labor, but it's the left who is pushing the most for open borders. What have Democrats done about wage stagnation? Flat wages since the 70's, what have the democrats done since then to stop the stagnation? Nothing! If anything, they add to it. You expect Republicans to be pro big corporation, but Democrats are no better, they just support different big business interests. Maybe it's harder to figure out who is to blame for the drugging of our boys, but powerful interests are pulling someones strings to make all that money for big pharm http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/a32858/drugging-of-the-american-boy-0414/

    Well, I can't argue that!

There seems to be a tiny few Democrats who are against them but that's not enough. So there is some validity in your statement.

Or conversely, it is the right who is pushing for a border wall that would be unnecessary if our laws were enforced.

What have Republicans done about it? They've advocated elimination of the minimum wage, "Right To Work(for less)", more boosting for corporate profits. Both parties have been mostly pro-corporate. The difference, and it's not huge, is that whereas Republicans openly advocate for corporations and against workers' interests, the Democrats say they are for workers. This at least opens the door for the people to force them to walk their talk.

You have a point, but as I said, at least Democrats say they are for workers.

I don't think raising the minimum wage is the way to fix the problem. I've seen too often where that mostly kills jobs and then it lowers the value of labor that have wages above that amount. I believe there is a surplus supply of labor due to jobs being outsourced and millions of low and unskilled labor coming in. I think the better solution is to reduce that surplus by various means and then wages will naturally rise.
