I do and I absolutely remember him even promoting the vaccine. However I do not remember him mandating or putting force behind the solutions being advocated. I remember the same about Florida and DeSantis. He kept the state open, made sure everyone who got a vaccine got one, and even made sure those who didn't had the choice of working, traveling, and monoclonal antibodies. It's much easier to accept the outcomes when there isn't force behind it. You place your bets and you win or lose. You might be 100% right with that but of course we don't live in a vacuum. This isn't "how's your wife" and the answer is "compared to what?" Trump has to be compared to what others did and what others would and did do in the same circumstance. If had a Joe Biden or similar Democrat in office, the wouldn't have slowed down the vaccine. They not only wanted it in our arms, they wanted it with force behind it. Did Trump initiate a lockdown. Absolutely and should he be judged for that? Absolutely. Did Biden run the lockdown and emergency orders well past their intended timeframes and need several of them slapped down by courts and did and would similar Democrats do the same or worse? I recently had COVID. So said the home test kit. I didn't need hospitalization, but it was a rough two days. I self-quarantined for a week. It's a gradual recovery. Two weeks later, I'm not feeling 100% yet, but I'd call it 90%. Why am I not dead or permanently disabled? 5 vaccine shots. Vaccines rock.

The highest hospitalization rate per million in Europe is currently under 100. At its very worst in the worst outbreak, Italy had around 600 per million hospitalized. The idea that you are only not dead or permanently disabled because of the vaccine is simply nonsense. Well that you have it after 5 jabs suggests maybe they don't rock. Perhaps more like soft jazz. One of my cousins has it now but he is not long out of cancer treatment so his immune system is crap. He still works though. His employer just has him working at night so he doesn't spread it around the place.
