    It has to do with "context" - the conversation is about war games with nuclear superpowers. While these games are in relation to conventional war - your comment was in relation to "any conceivable future conflict".

    My point - the one you responded to - was simply that these games are irrelevant with respect to some kind of real conflict involving an attack on the Russian Homeland as things would turn nuclear should the US get the upper hand. This is true regardless of the fact that nukes have not been used since WW2
