    As I noted in another thread when measured by the CPI of the late 1970's inflation sits at over 10% right now.

    And all Biden and the Dems have is to blame it on Putin and tell us tuff luck deal with it while they laugh.

    Read the chart from 2020 onward. Inflation was already going up PRIOR to Biden assuming office. Prior to 2020, it was basically steady, even under Obama. But correlation does not mean causation.

    A check back of the state of the economy cycle since, say, 1948 will disclose a semi-regular cycle of 'boom and bust'. It takes but a few minutes to relate the changes to the political party in power in the federal administration. Then, the application of the dictum that correlation is not proof of causation will get any inquisitive person on the path to understanding something about the capitalist structure as it exists in the United States of America.
