As we've seen, all during 2023 'migrants' have been pouring across the virtually open border in horrific numbers, sometimes more than 10,000 per day. So, now, because election-season is just around the corner, Biden's handlers decide that maybe they'd better see what they can do to try to put some kind of "lipstick" on a very, very ugly "pig"!

Mexico's President, Lopez Obrador, "said that in exchange (for Mexico's assistance) he wanted the United States to send more development aid to migrants’ home countries, and to reduce or eliminate sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela". More "development aid"? Oh, and we need foreign policy advice involving our border security from MEXICO?!

So, instead of declaring an emergency moratorium on ALL migration into the United States for a specified period, Biden's clown-show is going to come back home and tell American taxpayers that we have to flood the corrupt rulers and criminal organizations of Mexico, Central America, and South America with lots of money, or, they'll do nothing as our border continues to be flooded with wave after wave of migrants who are taught to use "asylum" scams, or just barge into our country entirely on their own.

Hint: the Spanish word for BLACKMAIL is "el chantaje"....

Oh, and you can bet that if Mexico's president Obrador does anything to help at all, he's going to want his own little 'show of appreciation' as more American money starts flowing to all those corrupt governments he says we should send it to.

It’s too late to do anything south of our border because the cartels will continue to literally advertise their services to get people through Mexico and to our border. The cartels are making a killing on trafficking and smuggling and they own the politicians.

We need to seal our border tighter than a clam’s ass and punish Mexico for allowing and assisting the illegals moving through their country. After we seal the border we should take out advertisements in every country that we are turning back the people at our borders so don’t bother to come. Maybe if Mexico had hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people stuck on their side of the border they’d get the hint.

 

No, Steve, if Mexico ever started having problems with 'migrants', they'd get their highly-efficient, well-equipped, very professional paramilitary force called the "Policia Azul" called into action to deal with it. The Mexican elite aren't stupid! They won't tolerate the disruption caused by hundreds of thousands of useless peasants wandering up from Central and South America to disturb their own tranquility and prosperity....

. Too bad we can't hire the Policia Azul to deal with 'migrants' over here!

 

One of the few policies that trump had that I agreed with was trying to work with our neighbors to address the immigration issue.

If Mexico can secure their southern border then we will see rapid reductions in the issue. Even better if we can assist with resolving some of the reasons these areas are seeing people flee them.

I am glad to see Biden doing something, even if it’s just a small step. We need to place requirements on any aid however

Biden and Harris and Myorkas and Blinken should all be impeached and removed for failing to defend our borders.

Need to work with Mexico if the US wants to tackle the immigration problem.

 

The courts are 8 years behind and they want to process them faster so we can continue to get farther behind. Once we get behind enough, they can finally say it's too late to do anything about it now. We must grant them amnesty and full citizenship. That seems to be their idea of reform. The idea should be to stem the flow or stop it altogether for a time. But then that would make too much sense I guess. It's all good as long as he does everything different than the Orange Man. Remember how much of a spectacle he made on his first day undoing every good immigration move Trump did primarily because there was no way the Orange Man could have done something right. He said, "I make no apology for changing everything back to the way it was before Trump."

 

The few times (not immigration, BTW) was either an unintended accident, simple law of averages, or Jared pushing for something. Was never the design.......

 

Biden's "diplomacy" is consistently "surrender".

What do we all think about all these strapping young men leaving their families behind in those dangerous countries? Sound like good fathers and brothers do they? A bunch like that should be turned away at the border without a hearing since it is obvious they are not oppressed asylum seekers. They are looking for jobs so they can send money back to their perfectly safe, non persecuted families. This makes a total mockery of our immigration laws and it should not be tolerated.

 

And THAT refusal to protect national sovereignty and our borders is exactly what the Republicans should charge Geriatric Joe with in Articles of Impeachment!

Chasing after all the crap the Biden family engaged in while shaking people around the world down in "influence peddling" scams is not ever (EVER) going to result in an impeachment! Ya know why? Because none of that crap happened while Joe was a SITTING PRESIDENT (read the Constitution)!. Some of these Republicans may have their "hearts in the right place", but they employ the tactics of oblivious children! You can only impeach a president for things that he has done while he is or was a SITTING PRESIDENT!

A far more effective tactic would be to put U. S. military personnel on the border after we close it indefinitely on a national-security basis with a moratorium on ALL typical migration! And no more ****ing "asylum" scams, either! Unless it is proven -- in advance -- that a foreign government has targeted a person for death, all asylum claims should be totally INELIGIBLE!

But, face reality -- the United States buying Mexican government 'cooperation' is like engaging in pig-wrestling, in an overturned outhouse, while drunk....

Trump never did slam the damned door shut on asylum-scams, and he never did shut the border to all migration on a national security basis or impose a moratorium on migration, either. Trump tried, but, NO CIGAR! The problem today is that absolutely nobody (NOBODY) in either political faction is ever going to really get done what so badly NEEDS to be done -- right now!

Shut all migration down in an air-tight moratorium for at least five years -- and -- round up all the criminals, invaders, and 'asylum' fraudsters and get them the hell OUT of here!

I don't know if it's true, but I read that migrants are getting over 2,000 bucks per month from the Gov. If someone can confirm or deny this, I'd love to know the truth.

I've also heard rumors of expensive hotels and debit cards on taxpayer's tit. They won't be paying taxes on that money they are sending home. They get to stay here on the Gov. tit while working under the table for God knows how long until the courts "catch up". They have free healthcare via ER. By the time their hearing comes up they will have blended into society. Won't have any incentive to be found so... I'll pass on my hearing. Then the Dems will squawk about how cruel it would be to deport them. etc. And round and round we go. Remember They reneged on the deal with Reagan after he unwisely did the mass amnesty thing. They are never willing to part with chain migration and cannot be trusted to hold up their end of any deal. Their terms are always the same.

 

Yeah, I heard they get $5000, a cell phone and ticket to anywhere they want to go and once they get there they get food and lodging, although sometimes that lodging is on an airport floor or in a tent.

Adams slaps restrictions on migrant buses coming to NYC from Texas as numbers rise

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday announced new restrictions on charter buses from Texas bringing migrants to the "sanctuary" city in an effort to curb the numbers of migrants that have hit the city since last year.

Adams announced an executive order requiring charter buses transporting migrants to provide 32 hours' notice in advance of their arrival in New York City. The order also requires buses to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. between Monday and Friday. Such buses are also required to drop off at one particular spot.

If buses do not comply, it would result in a class B misdemeanor, with penalties including three months' imprisonment and up to a $500 fine for individuals and $2,000 for corporations. Buses could also be impounded by the NYPD.
