    https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/consumer-price-index-november-2021

“The consumer price index rose 6.8% in November from a year ago, according to a new Labor Department report released Friday, marking the fastest increase since June 1982, when inflation hit 7.1%. The CPI – which measures a bevy of goods ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents – jumped 0.8% in the one-month period from October.

So-called core prices, which exclude more volatile measurements of food and energy, soared 4.9% in November from the previous year – a steep increase from October, when it rose 4.6%. It was the steepest rate since 1991.”

Get ready it’s coming. Thanks democrats.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/10/consumer-price-index-november-2021.html

Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace since 1982 in November, the Labor Department said Friday, putting pressure on the economic recovery and raising the stakes for the Federal Reserve.

The consumer price index, which measures the cost of a wide-ranging basket of goods and services, rose 0.8% for the month, good for a 6.8% pace on a year over year basis and the fastest rate since June 1982.

Excluding food and energy prices, so-called core CPI was up 0.5% for the month and 4.9% from a year ago, which itself was the sharpest pickup since mid-1991.

The Dow Jones estimate was for a 6.7% annual gain for headline CPI and 4.9% for core.

Well, at least Joe saved us .05¢ a gallon on gas.

Just wait until those dollars form the infrastructure bill starts hitting the market. We will be begging for 6.8%.

What 2021 and 1982 have in common is significant economic recovery in a relatively short period of time. This economic phenomenon is what economists call demand recovery. 2021 has seen higher job growth than any other year in US history, of course there's inflation. We've never seen a period of rapid economic recovery without inflation. Its never happened

Lol really? What are the democrats doing to stop the inflation? Because from what I can tell they’re carrying on with business as usual spending out the ass and encouraging the fed to keep printing money.

What would you like big government to do in order to increase supply to meet global demand?

I would love to hear your idea.

Democrat votes created this train wreck

We will hear about 401's from people who do not have one. We will hear how inflation is worldwide but we did not have to neuter the energy sector which drives up all costs. We did not need to keep pumping money into the economy and we sure as heck do not need to forgive student loans

Democrat votes have consequences; record inflation is just one of them

With the amount of jobs not able to fill, unemployment should be zero then. 11 millions jobs that can't be filled. The unemployment rate is calculated based upon those still collecting unemployment benefits. Most people merely no longer qualify for those benefits, skewing the rate substantially.

Biden needs not to worry... there are plenty of dead enders that will try and spin this as a good thing along with Big Tech and the MSM that tells them what to think.

... 2022 is going to be a Democratic Party electoral bloodbath.

If you honestly think this kind of lubricious spending does not and will not create an inflationary bubble... then you truly have not witnessed this kind of radical print and spend in other economies throughout history.

Biden and the Dems Misery Index = "Unemployment Rate + Inflation Rate + Murder Rate.”

They can't stop their destruction. It will continue until the voters seep them from power.

Sure it is.... What do you imagine Biden has to do with it?

Meanwhile something we can actually verify around here is the gas cost remain high as hell and groceries are going up and availability is going down.

But I suppose a left winger will come along to tell us how this is actually a good thing .

I think that claim is laughable too. Something he can’t even prove. His 401k could be tanking for all we know. He can’t prove that. Does anyone else have any input on their 401k this year? Mine hasn’t been impressive at all.

The cool thing about the internet is you can be anything you want!

But I tell you the truth I don't have a 401k and I drink domestic beer!

The one thing we can certainly all see is those gas and grocery prices.

Left wingers love to tell you don't believe what you actually see at ground level in your daily life believe the propaganda they spew

OPEN THEFT as wild spending Dems stoke up the inflation bonfire that is burning down the US economy.

“RESCUE:” Exposing the $1.9 Trillion Swindle By Democrats in the American Rescue Plan.
    Blow on the Dem Wishlist.
"What made the bill so totally unnecessary was that Republicans had passed a $900 billion relief bill in December of 2020. And with the nation beginning to emerge from its self-imposed shutdown, $900 billion was plenty of stimulus to get the country rolling again."
Exactly, and without lighting the inflation bonfire.

First they said it wasn't happening,
Then they said it was "transitory"
Now they are saying it's "some else's" fault.
