Now that I hear that Russia is asking China for help my heart sinks. This is a red line, should China choose to accept it, but with Biden I fear that no action by the USA will take place against either of them.

It's almost like there is nobody home at the Whitehouse. We all saw the Obama red-lines that came and passed without consequences in Syria. And I don't have much more faith in Biden's abilities. And Harris the chuckler isn't prepared to handle this kind of situation any better than Biden, should she need to step up. I'm sorry that this isn't respectful, but once I was introduced to the idea of the lack of abilities in the current administration I can't unsee it.

Possibly. I think the intel drones are more likely than the combat ones.

Well MSNBC only reported the weaponry that I listed. Again, this was not their independent reporting, and they could not confirm the story; this was their merely relating what was in the FINANCIAL TIMES story, which you posted as the link for your thread.

That's pretty sad, after all their planning, they don't even have enough MREs. Stark proof of how much longer this is taking the Russians, than they'd expected.

~ It appears that both Russia and China are going to make an arse of themselves — perhaps together ! There could be a Ping - Putin double grave waiting ...

~ Apparently it is not . Society is dumbed-down more than realised. Politicians lead the way ...

Seems that Ukraine hasn't been quite the cake walk that Russia expected.

POSTMODERN WARFARE: A Developer Altered Open Source Software to Wipe Files in Russia.

“Two weeks ago, the node.ipc author pushed a new version of the library that sabotaged computers in Russia and Belarus, the countries invading Ukraine and providing support for the invasion, respectively. The new release added a function that checked the IP address of developers who used the node.ipc in their own projects. When an IP address geolocated to either Russia or Belarus, the new version wiped files from the machine and replaced them with a heart emoji.”

    Wiped? Like with a cloth?
