Apparently, the U.S. is hiring terrorists to help fight in Ukraine against Russia. So far, this includes ISIS and Al Qaeda.

Hundreds of Al-Qaeda militants arrive in Ukraine from Syria
    ByNews Desk- March 08, 2022
The Al-Qaeda militants arrived just days after Russian intelligence warned that Washington was providing them with training for the fight in Ukraine

Is it really that surprising? Remember those "moderate Muslims" the U.S. was supplying with weapons under the Obama Administration trying to topple the Assad government in Syria?

Seems like leaders in the Democrat party don't actually want to put American soldiers on the ground and find it easier to just pay terrorists to do the dirty work. More politically convenient to be sure. Lots of their Democrat voters don't like war, so this is a way to brush it under the carpet.

I think ultimately some of this funding could wind its way back to terrorist organizations and fuel ongoing future terrorist conflicts in the Middle East.

Sounds like typical smear bullshit popular with the Putin fans and the GOP's sudden adoration of Jane Fonda and the peaceniks. Black Rock and the bankers who lost out backing Putin must still be forking over big bux to the spin doctors over losing their $120 billion + over their hero's botched' invasion', and after the others went so well, since nobody fought back in Georgia or Crimea; he had Obama's blessing then and Biden isn't really doing much despite all the breast beating and sniveling by the GOP shills. Another 10-20 Himars and the Ukraine's civilian soldiers will stamp the Russians out.

Actually, there was a democratic opposition to Assad in Syria in 2012. It was the Obama administrations refusal to provide them arms that led them to accept arms from extremist groups.

I've never heard of this site. It sounds a bit dodgy to me.

The U.S. is funneling money to Ukraine which is paying private contractors to hire mercenaries coming from other parts of world, no doubt with the full knowledge of the U.S. Public records are probably not being kept on which parts of the world or who these people are.

Keep in mind that Ukraine is very close on the geopolitical map to many other terrorist hotspots in the Middle East that have occurred over the last 15 years. Afghanistan is less than a 4 hour plane ride from Ukraine, for example.

Let's think about this. Militants that have spent years fighting and risking their lives, and, coming from a poorer part of the world, don't really have any other good employment opportunities.

I just spent about an hour going through that site, and it is incredibly dodgy.

Very Pro-Russian and Pro-Iranian in most of their reports on anything involving those nations. The news from that site is very slanted, and should not be taken seriously.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari complained on that the ongoing war in Ukraine is flooding the Lake Chad region with weapons. The U.S. has provided nearly $30 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since last February, while EU nations have provided close to $20 billion. Officials have admitted that some arms shipments have been difficult to track once they enter the conflict zone.

"Regrettably, the situation in the Sahel and the raging war in Ukraine serve as major sources of weapons and fighters that bolster the ranks of the terrorists in the Lake Chad Region," Buhari told fellow regional leaders on Tuesday.

Wait a minute, are you telling me that arms we're giving to Ukraine are ending up in other conflict zones?

    I'm shocked!

Before considering such a charge, I would be most interested in knowing what these weapons are.

And that is something that is amazingly missing from that report.

"President Muhammadu Buhari has issued a warning over the proliferation of small and light weapons into the region"
Buhari Issues New Advisory, Speaks on Inflow of Weapons into Africa, Nigeria from Russia-Ukraine War - Legit.ng

In other words, arms that can easily be carried by individual people, which of course is not surprising.

"Regrettably, the situation in the Sahel and the raging war in Ukraine serve as major sources of weapons and fighters that bolster the ranks of the terrorists in Lake Chad Region."... "A substantial proportion of the arms and ammunition procured to execute the war in Libya" end up spreading across the region, while weapons used "for the war in Ukraine and Russia are equally beginning to filter to the region," the president said.

The Libyan conflict and NATO intervention of 2011 that toppled the government of strongman Muammar Gaddafi resulted in a large amount of weapons from the country's stockpiles spreading throughout the Sahel. Libya has remained torn between warring factions for more than a decade.

Gee, yet more meaningless claims, with absolutely nothing to back it up, show exactly where the weapons are coming from, or who is providing them.

Le me know when you can actually validate those rumors with actual facts. I mean, weapons do have serial numbers. So it would not be all that hard to actually release some actual evidence, you know? Like maybe photographs of these weapons, serial numbers, then tracking them to see where they originally came from.

But we are seeing none of that, just innuendo without any actual accusations. You know, almost as if this is some kind of Russian PR spin.

And the fact that you close it with a report from RT only goes to show that is most likely exactly what is going on there. The old Soviet Union used to be really good at propaganda. But the modern Russia is horrible at it.
