    So glad soccer hasn't ruined the game by adding AMERICAN BLLSHT meaning "replay review". Go USA. We would have been subjected with 10 minutes of watching replays and maybe having that penalty kick overturned if Americans ran things! That said, I will say if the call had gone against the USA...... I'M OK WITH IT....you win some you lose some, get 'em next time.

    There are more registered youth players in the USA than any other nation on earth, including China. The sport is exceedingly popular.


    As for the World Cup - so glad we won today!

    The only reason why the USA does not dominate mens soccer as do other countries is because we insist on sending our best players to college rather than juniors. If we eliminated soccer from the NCAA and put our best athletes in juniors programs we would produce more top players than any other nation and win the mens World Cup every time without fail.
