For sure. I show it to my friends on a big screen monitor and with sound on , Everyone hears and sees what I see and if you slow it down it gets even worse cause you can see a clip.
Could be. I knew it was a bump stock before the media did, you can hear the cyclical rate change in some of the bursts.
I heard the rate change too but bump stock didn’t click. I’ve fired the M2 browning machine gun quite a bit in the army. They do it when they get dry or dirty.
Yeah I figured that too, but thought a bump stock was more likely. Also due to the length of the bursts, I figured it was a large mag. 40+ rounds between reloads.
So you think it was a flashlight? I think people have a desire to not believe what they are seeing. Nobody even adresses videos like this.
When you watch the video with sound you can hear the other gun in the background. The guy turns fires and you hear it in close proximity.
That could be the echo of the guns, you could actually calculate it, if you look up the temp/humidity, and distance from the shooters room, particularly if you know where the cell video was shot. See if the time between the noise adds up. I usually shoot in canyons, there are some real strange sonic artifacts that can be heard.
I just figured that being an expert on guns and stuff that you would be able to tell the difference between the 1st gun that shoots the spray of bullets and then the gun that shoots in the background After the guy walks away.
If you watch the video the shooting continues after the guy leaves but the shots are happening from farther away those are quite some delayed echoes.
Figure a roughly 1 second delay per 1000 feet. Someone with audio editing software could give precise times. Did they find brass on the concert grounds?
I don't know. I would assume that that guy had a shell catcher If he is trying to be sneaky. The proximity of the sound of the 1st gun that goes off with the guy that sprays and then the sounds of the other guns going off after is very different.
I fired one when in high school. Back then, it was no problem for kids in the CA Cadet Corp to fire such weapons. We fired one in the hills where the University of Berkeley campus is.
People do things that seem odd, especially when it comes to traumatic experiences. I don't see it, I do recall reading of several concert goers with CCW's. Remember, most of that gunfire was from a rifle, meaning supersonic. The cracks of bullets impacting the asphalt would be heard before the rifle report.
Rob yo, I'm looking for opinions and I was wondering if you watched the video and what you think. Am I crazy for seeing a guy duck in and shoot a bunch of people with a sub-machine-gun and then slink off?
Ok bro, respect the opinion. Do you think I'm crazy for seeing a guy duck in there and shoot a bunch of people with a sub-machine-gun?
I can't imagine how many lefties would be triggered if an M2 was fired, by high school kids, where Cal is.
