Oh, how I love a good implosion! Instant karma, it should always follow "Don't you know who I am?!"

Caren Z Turner's attitude embodies and expresses the Hillary ethos perfectly here; entitled elitist who demands special treatment. The attitude Ms Turner emotes here is exactly what millions of Americans intuitively felt exuding from every pore and personality in the Clinton campaign.

Kudos to The Port Authority of NY and NJ, they forced Commissioner Turner's resignation within hours of hearing of this incident. Ironically, Ms Turner was on the ethics committee.

Ethics for you but not for me and my political pals.

    https://savejersey.com/2018/04/video-caren-turner-traffic-stop-hillary-clinton-port-authority/

TENAFLY, N.J. — Caren Z. Turner left her job after an embarrassing roadside display, Save Jerseyans, and now we have the video.

The newly-former NY/NJ Port Authority Commissioner reportedly showed up during a March 2018 routine traffic stop involving her daughter, flashed an official port authority badge, and proceeded to berate Tenafly police officers as a camera recorded everything, even yelling “[y]ou may not tell me when to take my child. You may shut the f— up!” during a particularly heated point of the extraordinary exchange.

Police ordered a tow truck to impound the vehicle and gave the driver a summons for ‘unclear plates,’ not having the insurance card, and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

In the video, Turner introduces herself to the officers and shows them her ID.

‘I don’t need that,’ one of the officers told her. ‘You’re just here as a ride, right?’

Turner replies: ‘No, I’m not. I’m here as a concerned citizen and friend of the mayor.

‘I’ve been living in Tenafly for 20 years. I take full responsibility for them.

‘What is the reason they were pulled over?’

The officer declines to offer her an explanation, saying: ‘The driver has all the information. He’ll tell you.’

‘No, no, no... I need to know,’ Turner says.

‘No, you don’t need to know. You are not involved here. You’re picking them up?’ one of the officers says to Turner.

‘I am involved. Trust me, I’m very involved,’ she replies.

The driver of the car is over 18 years old. ‘That’s all you need to know.’

When she pulls out her ID, the other officer says: ‘We don’t need to see credentials here.’

Her first mistake was thinking she is free to speak to the police officers. They are always looking for you to make a mistake. Her second was acting like she was so important that she could show up at a traffic stop and make a difference. She should have been upset with the driver for getting her out there in the first place. I did not watch the entire thing.

Lastly, she underestimates the ability of an officer to go the **** off on a person up in his face while he is doing his job, and this is coming from someone who does not **** with the police.

Pretty entitled arent we.. For all her qualifications i would think that she would know that since he children are 18 or over they are not obligated to tell her **** and for that matter she was interfering with the duties of a law enforcement officer.. Little stick up her ass and name dropper could have been arrested.. What would her precious MIT students think then?

Tenafly is a really nice town about five miles from the George Washington Bridge. I used to work in that town and surrounding areas and that woman is demonstrating exactly how all too many of the residents treat the little people.

The police chief must have been really pissed at her in order to release this video.

There should be a law making such behavior illegal, similar to bribery, with a stiff fine and perhaps even some jail time when prolonged.

I thought the officer was implying that by asking her of what relevance her position or title was to the matter.

Oh, I think her status as Commissioner within the Port Authority could have elicited the basic information she was seeking from the officers. Professional courtesy goes a long way but it must be a mutual arrangement borne out of respect. Simply, had the Ex-Commissioner just handed her card to the officer and said something like; "Officer, when you're completely done here I have a few questions if you can make the time, I'll be setting in my car. Thank you, stay safe."

Out of her eliment, and normal environment, we see an almost physical demand on her perceived inferiors, I can just imagine the abuse she inflicts on subordinates when she's in her domain. If you aren't in her 'orbit' or caste she cannot see you or feel your pain.

    Leftism is caste based.

They are in the inferior caste.

I'll bet, without a doubt, those two officers insure the dash cam is always working! Had it not that day, honestly, this could have been a **** storm for them both. Bitch knew the Mayor by name, the Police Chief and Commissioner by name AND implied she wielded career power over 4,000 other low stationed peons.

Ironically this credential flashing, name dropping, self-important bureaucratic tyrant is more dangerous than an armed felon. The cops should have seen the inherent danger and lit her up!

Oh, for those that don't get it, Ms Turner is the deep state.

WTF? Good God those two officers deserve a commendation! Every time I see this I feel blessed I don't have to wake up or lay my head down at night next to something as mental as this women!

How did I forget about this already?

My sister lives in Demarest, NJ, which is two towns over from Tenafly (read 5 minutes) and she's married to a cop. In NJ cops get PBA cards and they hand them out to friends who use them to get out of tickets when stopped by the cops (see the below link) and we talked about the cards when she was visiting here because the cops where I live are aggressive with speeding tickets. That this woman in the story and the 3 people in the car didn't have one means she/they had no friends who are/were policemen who were willing to help her out in a jam with the cops which is odd considering the position she held with the Port Authority.

I am happy to see her go, but let's not act like this is a Lefty thing. A certain Righty used the same Authority to shut down a few lanes on the GW Bridge a few years back.

No doubt, I'll be honest, after watching this dumb ass whine I'm actually annoyed R/L! The only silver lining is knowing Liberal men get to live with this and it makes me grin ;)

The cards work, but you don't use them or any other influence after the tickets have been handed out. You most certainly don't drive up to a traffic stop to intervene for your daughter's boyfriend. Not even if you are the governor.

Just go to court to contest the ticket and make small talk with the prosecutor. It can all be handled there.
