Is this the systemic racism I've been reading about? Is this the wonderful progressed society I'm told we would achieve hyper focusing in on race?

"She told the outlet that school administrators are overwhelmed by spiraling violence inside and around the school — and their response was to advise her to enroll her three children elsewhere."

"The heartbroken mom noted her two older kids have also been bullied during their brief time at the school — and counselors and administrators have done nothing to address her complaints."

The look of absolute hatred and anger in her attacker is very telling. If that were my daughter I'd probably be in jail by now.

This happened in FLA of all ****ing places.

 

I don't understand why these idiots were so violent. What drove that? I know kids can be miserable little bastards to each other and I've experienced my share of it, but you just have to wonder what is going on in their lives to inspire that kind of hatred and violence.

 

I can only speculate what caused what appears to be a deep seeded hatred and disdain towards a 9 year old girl. I've never found myself ever getting that low that I could beat the head of a 9 year old girl, regardless of what she had done. If she were fighting my little sister I would simply break it up. I mean...its a ****ing 9 year old girl.

But when you look at the face of the teen beating her, he clearly doesn't see her as human.

So. if I were a betting man? He has been taught to hate her based off of her race. If I were a betting man.

Mother filed criminal charges...those involved were arrested and will be charged criminally. The mother is suffering from PTSD...I'm sure the little girl is going to probably have a bias now towards a certain demographic.

 

I would bet that it was either not a factor or not the sole factor. I know you want everything to be political and the fault of "the left" in some way, but I doubt this kind of ugliness came from that. They're kids, after all. They're probably not paying much attention to Al Sharpton.

The kids throwing punches should be criminally charged.

The other kids on that bus need to have a lecture about helping bystanders.

I have a very strong belief that if you perpetuate the nonsense to see people RACE FIRST instead of teaching people to see people as grey or the same, when you teach people history based on oppressor victim status and nonsense like white privilege. That all that's wrong in your life could be chalked up to white people keeping you down or doing you wrong.

Or how you can popularize openly hating on white people...you are going to see an increase in violence and hatred against white people.

This is just common sense that the left need to wake up too.

This kid hates. There is a reason why he hates. It takes a special kind of hate to have the ability to beat a 9 year old girl in the head with all your might.

I would say it's a very safe bet this hate is racially seeded.

And on the flip side, as white people get hated on, they too will grow resentment hatred and racism. This is a societal dead end.

 

You are blaming kids' personal issues on broad cultural and societal issues, and you're doing so in response to a dog whistle.

Whom do we get to blame for this? I mean, as long as we're finding scapegoats, who besides the idiots who decided to have a brawl that led to a death should take the blame here?

Personally, beyond holding the individuals responsible, I would point to humanity's natural inclination toward tribal and group violence, which is very similar to behavior regularly witnessed in our closest evolutionary relatives, the chimpanzees.

Isn't it funny that when you see white cops beating a black suspect because they are resisting you will see "racist cop". But when I ask you to explain how it came to be that a black teenaged boy could savagely beat a 9 year old white girl you don't want to jump to conclusions.

I find that hilarious. And I certainly wish you'd have promoted the "it's not racism" to the BLM crowd before they decided to riot and burn **** in their mostly peaceful protests.

But the reality is hate crime is on the rise. This will get to a point to where you can't ignore it and will need to dive into what's fueling it.

Of course, I never made such a comment about police beating a guy being racist. This recent incident where the guy died even involved at least one black police officer, from what I saw.

I wonder how many incidents like this happen every day that you don't hear about precisely because the racial mix doesn't play to the New York Post's narrative. As I said at the outset, children can be miserable little bastards to each other. In the present case, I would suspect that the perps come from a less than ideal household and upbringing, and that is a problem that is hardly if at all influenced by racism.

Is hate crime on the rise? That could be. That doesn't make this attack a hate crime, however. Maybe we'll learn about what motivated the attackers once this goes to trial.

I suspect that the attack on Paul Pelosi was a hate crime, though. Hard to imagine anyone taking a hammer to place and trying to find her without some extreme right-wing inspiration behind it.

It is the indoctrination that is systemic. More disturbing than the racism is the beating of someone half the kids size AND a girl????? Back in the 70s, 5 guys nearby would have punished the guy for beating on a girl. And even had it been a boy half his size, 5 guys would have instantly pulled of the bigger kid off the little one. 6th or 7th grade kid would have been mocked for years for beating up a 3rd grader. All these kids probably high fived the guy for his impressive beating skills.

 

Bias against guys who beat on girls half their size is a good thing.

 

So, yet again we have an example male violence, but somehow the problem is race? Nope, the problem is males being violent. But I guess if you like the idea of tarring entire groups with the actions of a few then you NEVER accept that the group you are in is a problem. Must be some easily identifiable subset who are different. Has to be.

Talking heads on TV are saying the kids arent even being charged criminally, only a civil citation.

 

What drove that is the widespread practice of violence in our society. Yes, it's part of the human condition, but it is learned behavior. Hatred of others is encouraged by certain policies. Kids have been playing violent video games for generations now.

As Louis Brandeis put it a century ago: "Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill it teaches the whole population by example"

A government that acts violently encourages the citizens to do the same.

I'm a very petite and thin individual and timid. But I went through some dark times during high school and for a short time ran with a crowd of bullies. What I remember is as people were hurt and intimidated, I felt pleasure, i felt powerful, and incredibly strong. Really enjoyable. Thank goodness a teacher reeled me in and shamed me.

Why do these kids do this? They lack empathy and enjoy it.

the abuse of drugs is still with us legal or not, just making it illegal is funding gangs, prohibition of alcohol had the same issues, it just doesn't work

make it legal, arrest people for public intox and stuff like alcohol, end the gangs

 

Personally I have been removed from this senseless violence as I choose to live away from metropolitan areas where this stuff occurs. We in the mountains are armed and ready when it does come. I think what would be a very good idea is for retired volunteers, maybe with some enforcement experience, to become "Bus Guards". Driving a bus has to be nerve racking in itself, but running herd on a bunch of deviate culture crazed kids has to be over taxing.
