Why don't you join your ilk in starting a thread on Herring?? Make it a nice round number...

I'm somewhat of a conservative but I don't think he should resign. This business of bringing up stupidity from stuff kids did 30-40 years ago has got to stop. Kids do stupid stuff and what was acceptable or funny 30 years ago isn't applicable today.

Why would he allow those pics in a medical school yearbook?

Why would he wear those clothes, to take those pics?

Why is he known as coonman?

I know many physicians and even back as med students they knew this.

I read that a former classmate gave this to the media after he defended infanticide. (the killing of infants)

Actually, Fairfax's case is the most egregious (given Dem Support for the #MeToo movement).

There is literally no sensible person who thinks that Herring should resign.

Northam should probably resign, but not until he is sure that Herring is staying for sure.

Northam should be shunned for supporting infanticide - meaning legalized murder - of innocent himan beings

A failure of character far more urgent than wearing blackface 35 years ago in college

The pictures were submitted in a envelope with the student's name on it. He didn't know about the pictures since 1984?

OTOH what Medical School has a yearbook?

In case you're wondering, one of the civil rights leaders who took issue with Governor Kluckerface's unwillingness to shake a black man's hand was Martin Luther King, Jr.'s niece, Alveda.

True.... and obviously, the other 3 photos on the page are of him and he says he submitted those 3. I have to assume there is a fair amount of time between submitting those photos and the yearbook being published. A lot can happen.

His college roommate thinks it was a prank played on Northam.

    https://www.delmarvanow.com/story/n...a-gov-no-association-racial-photo/2771834002/

You'd have to believe A: He's not in the photo and B: he didn't know about the yearbook page until last week to get past this. I admit B is stretching the imagination, but it's certainly not impossible to believe.

Nothing/Nobody has come out since Saturday contradicting his story.

Also, here is an interesting story on the current status of yearbooks at this medical college. They are now banned due to another questionable photo in 2014

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...d74f4bf0295_story.html?utm_term=.6ae7fff009b5

And this is another guy who appeared in drag blackface around the same time frame and college... He's supposed to be Diana Ross, but that's a stretch at the imagination I cannot take...... Yeeeesh....... :)

    https://www.roanoke.com/news/politi...cle_d101ef03-1e50-516a-8ab7-7cfe4c38b362.html

Don't know what to tell you.... Either you believe him or you don't. A subjective call, since there is no actual proof he's guilty of anything except horrible optics here. I'm choosing to believe him for now...

Yes, Fairfax's case is the "most egregious" because it forces the Flaming Dumpstercrats to play by their own rules and live up to their own standards or admit they are hypocrites.

    Poor things.

However, Dumpstercrats have already established that they are hypocrites and despite what they once told us about Brett Kavanaugh, Justin Fairfax is entitled to the presumption of innocence. However, given the credibility of his accuser I'll concede that he's in hot water and he didn't help his case saying "**** that bitch". The "progressive" girls on MSNPC weren't too happy about that this morning, either.

    :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

Yeah, the Flaming Dumpstercrats in Virginia should tell the blacks in our commonwealth to go to the back of the bus and suck it. Great Dumpstercrat advice, AJ.

As for sensible persons, Herring called on Governor Coonman to resign for doing exactly what Herring did at UVA. If he took his own advice he would have resigned yesterday. Now, he wants to cling to power like Governor Coonman, too.

I will, however agree that Attorney General Kluckerface isn't a sensible person. He's a racist Dumpstercrat and a hypocrite to boot.

As for Governor Coonman, there's no "probably" about his need to resign. All the racist Dumpstercrats in Virginia have to resign, and if Justin Fairfax is to be held to the same standard that Dims held for Brett Kavanaugh he's a rapist and he has to resign, too.

Why is that, AJ? He states he's not in the picture and didn't know about it.... Would you resign if you knew that?

I'd like to see a better statement as to HOW and WHY the first (Friday) statement was made (I'm assuming gutshot reaction - very stupid), but his press conference on Saturday convinced me he's not in the picture and he didn't know about the picture.

How do you even RUN for office in 2017 knowing something like that exists (even if it's not you)?? You'd have to be the one who brings it up to try and explain it before it comes out like it did.

Is it? I think it's par for the course. I think the very thin veneer of PC is wearing through and we're just seeing what has been there all along.

Or we can believe C: Governor Coonman's admission that he appeared in the photo:

“I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now"

I'll take his word on that.

On a lighter note, a writer from the WaPo appeared on MSNPC this morning and compared Governor Kluckerface to Punxsutawney Phil for burying himself in the depths of the Governor's Mansion and hiding from the public. In response, the Great Groundhog issued the following statement:

    "Leave me out of this!!"

I take a different approach here. I think you force the guy to serve out his term, and constantly run the audio of him supporting infanticide. This isn't a gotcha video, it isn't an edited piece of tape that liberals can hide behind. This is the unvarnished belief of the true progressive liberals for whom population control and racial purity are so important.

My A and your C are contradictory.... Again, one is a statement from his office and one was from his own lips... I choose to believe the verbal over the written in this case.

You obviously believe what is politically expedient

Because carried to its natural conclusion liberal lunacy in VA means a new republican governor taking office

I dunno, we have an article where someone who was on the yearbook staff said pix were submitted by the students themselves HERE.

See, the part in blue - that's why I don't believe him. I think if he'd just stuck with the first apology, it mighta blown over. Sure, he'd be the butt of jokes for a bit but who here hasn't done something stupid when they were younger? But the lame-oid excuse the next day? I'm not buying it.

I believe innocent until proven guilty (even the lower bar of politically guilty), as I'm sure I've heard some on your side proclaim over and over again.

LOL at natural conclusion.... Who is still president today??

Yes, I've addressed the Friday statement multiple times on here.... It's moronic if you were not in the picture. But again, I believed the man speaking on Saturday which contradicts the statement on Friday. The statement was a gutshot reaction to a horrible revelation. I wouldn't have done it myself, but the retraction/correction came pretty quickly afterwards (less than 24 hours)

I read that article about yearbook production... he certainly didn't slam the door on the chance of a mistake OR a deliberate prank of some sort.

I did LOL at this statement - He also said it’s unlikely that yearbook staffers mixed up photos during production because “as far as I know, nobody complained that their picture was under the wrong person.”

Yeah.... "Hey, that's MY KKK photo on Northams page.... Get that right guys" is a phone call the yearbook staff will never receive.

That sort of supports the general thought that many didn't even know yearbooks in medical college were even a thing.

They had human accusers with stories... Not the case here... Also, I think the potential accusations were more serious than this situation. Those were basically assault accusations vs political incorrectness. Hardly apples to apples...

I don't think I ever said O'Kavanaugh shouldn't be confirmed due to Ford et al. I thought he shouldn't be confirmed due to the accusations of previous lying and primarily, that the process of document production was improperly done. Still do.

There was never any evidence against either one

    Just unsupported accusations
