Visa Waiver (Omnibus) vs Donald Trump

    So, on Friday, Obama signed the Omnibus Bill which has modified the Visa Waiver program in such a way that:

    > If you are a citizen of (even a dual citizen) or
    > If you have visited in the last 5 years
    > The countries of Iraq, Iran, Libya, etc

    then you must apply for a Visa.

    Sounds to me like a good way of discriminating without a blanket discrimination. It's going to cost a lot of money to go through the visa applications.
    Isn't Trumps version easier and more cost effective?

    Personally I think these are fairly knee-jerk reactions, and are not going to resolve immediate issues. I do think there needs to be a new method of security, but terrorism isn't all that common.

    I think the Omnibus Bill will help with the Department of Homeland Security's vetting process.
