And pretending the law is really to prevent something which doesn't occur is even more pathetic....

Comparing minority voting from 2010 to 2006, surely even you can guess why it's ridiculous to use that to support what you are trying to support.....

 

It's supposed to be the "poor" that is affected the most by voter ID. Well, that's a boatload of bull. The "poor" are most likely to be availing themselves of government services they need an ID to get in the first place. With that in mind why would liberals be so adamantly against voter ID? Maybe illegals would stop voting if they had to identify themselves and face felony charges for actually voting?

 

Exactly, that's why the liberal garbage is just that on voters requiring ID.

 

The liberal dimocrats simply do not want to lose the advantage they have had with voter fraud. They call Voter ID suppression to justify and to perpetuate their lawlessness.

That this simple, common sense, equally applied regulation of polls is an actual leftist talking point today proves conclusively that this country is not divided among well-meaning people whose legitimate policy opinions happen to differ, but a public sector dependent thug mob of bureaucrats, govt employees, teachers, unions, gov contractors, and those tangentially dependent on govt. seeking to steal from the rest of us. I simply can't believe that anyone could object to picture ID at the polls as equating to "voter suppression."

Ironically the leftist reasoning, "but little voting fraud has been proven," actually BOLSTERS the rationale for ID because of the fact that voter fraud is indeed very difficult to catch or prove. Somehow the leftist "rape type reasoning" whereby the true incidence of crime is hidden away and dwarfs the established reported statistics doesn't apply to any other crimes than leftist pet crimes. Interesting that.

There was of course a time in the South where blacks really had their vote suppressed. Real suppression. Literacy tests performed by racists and poll taxes.

Requiring a positive ID to vote is not voter suppression. Not in any tiny little way at all. It is ridiculous. Its propaganda to suggest other wise.
