Well we'll see how long you stay in business should the fed reserve stop printing money.
    Unless you're good with bartering.

Until the circulation slows or stops and we hit a large deflationary period.
Don't think that will help your business.
It is the single biggest thing the Fed Res does, don't allow a deflationary period. They want inflation for infinity and beyond.

Whatever happened in Jimmy Carter's 1970s stagflation is nothing compared to the Free Trade glory days of the global recession of late-2000s which considered by many economists to be the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s

Wow, that is funny. You don't know many unionists, do you??

Well what do you tell the guy who is barely scraping by on 9 bucks and hour, living in a ratty apartment with no money to recreate, but he sees people on welfare living a higher quality of life than he does?

Is he supposed to be happy he's paying taxes out so people who don't work live a better quality of life than he does?

I like that question. Is money the fuel that turns the wheels of our economy?

Coal, oil, even wood is something that takes energy to produce. We consume it to release that energy and the release of energy moves wheels or get's other jobs done for us.

No work is needed to produce currency and currency isn't consumed in our economy, it's just used as a means to transfer the product or services we spend work producing to the folks who will consume those products or services.

The wheels of our economy don't turn when I hand Dave a pile of currency, they turn when Dave provides me with a service or product. I don't think money is the fuel of our economy. Money just seems to be the conduit that allows products and services to move more easily between production and consumption. Money isn't the fuel, it's the pipeline the fuel is transferred through. One person can get by fine on 9 bucks an hour but that just means those getting the assistance are getting too much and cheating the system.

Take that same gut and put him in a house with a wife and 2 or 3 kids and then they will pay no tax and qualify for everything under the sun as far as assistance. Yrs it is screwed up and needs a fix. The person that tries to live within their means gets screwed.

I agree welfare is good for the economy.

The participant rate in welfare is too low. I think we should have at least 50% of US population on welfare to help the economy to grow.

GEEE? Ever took a tax credit? Every person who has ever gotten any kind of credit is a welfare recipient. I hear people (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about taxes but hell half of those (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing pay no federal income tax and those that do pay very little. I bet 50%+ are welfare people and this includes the wealthy.

I say do away with all credits and deductions and set a graduated flat tax. No forms at the end of the year no refunds, nothing. Everyone gets medical coverage, those working that can not sustain themselves get a food allotment.

By lowering the tax rates and doing this we could increase revenue short term but the fact is there is one real root cause for these issues "too many people living too long and doing it on the cheap".
