Damn I always enjoyed Sitchin's work, but always thought it was pseudo science take on mythology. But apparently....

Why not just simply reply to the article, or to the professor who made this claim? Instead of silly troll posts?

Until Planet 9 is actually found is can be seen as pseudo science. Current speculation is based entirely on fluctuations in Oort cloud orbital objects which could be explained in other ways. I could very well be there is a large planet far beyond the Pluto orbit, Just as it is possible our sun has a drown dwarf companion....we could also be an experiment conducted by Aliens or there could be a God.

It may be fun to consider and lead to interesting concepts but this is not considered to be science.

Planet Nine hasn't been discovered yet. It's only been hypothesized based on computer models that show it could explain the motion of Kuiper belt objects in specific orbits around the sun. Since they don't know if it exists or what it's actual orbit is, or it's mass, they can't actually predict whether or not it's responsible for comets being flung towards the inner solar system. An object that size at that distance is also a potential candidate for a planet stolen from a passing star by the sun meaning it's impossible to even say at this point how long this hypothesized planet has even been in orbit around the sun. It's discovery would help shed light on this orbit and may answer some of those questions, but at this point even it's existence is just speculation.
