This should be required reading for anyone still suffering from the delusion that either wing of the Donkephant is good for you http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/10/07/Cannabis-As-Addictive-As-Heroin-New-Study-Finds Is this the government the Framers gave us? Is this the government anyone voted for? Is this a faithful and moral commitment to the Constitution, the rule of law and personal liberty? The answers are obvious. Shame on the government at all. What is the law and the Constitution? Nothing.
Did you post the wrong link? This goes to an article about the study of cannabis being as addictive as heroin?
Yes, thanks! - - - Updated - - - Sorry, guys! There is wrong link in post Here is right http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/parallel-reconstruction-washingtons-stealth-attack-on-the-constitution/?utm_source=wysija&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Mailing+List+Mid+Day+Thursday
A good read. I am largely of the opinion that anyone, who supports any incumbent, in any election, is an idiot. The blame for this becoming what it has, transcends political lines. I truly hope a huge message is sent to BOTH sides of the aisle this November that we, The People, are tired of the BS, and we're not going to take it anymore.
America should realize that the two-party system is far from perfect. And I think we has long needed to understand it. We had different presidents, both Democrats and Republicans. In varying degrees, each doing something good. And something bad. But now we can see to what the era of democrats has led us. But Republicans do not make us happy too
It's all too clear to me. Republicans are failing us, Democrats are failing us. They keep the kabuki-puppet show going on in the foreground so the pundits can quibble while ignoring and/or exacerbating the actual problems that need to be addressed. They keep the racial/sexual/income divisive meme going to keep us all taking sides against each other, when none of those things (while issues that need to be addressed), are really high priority items, in the big picture. No one wants to do anything about becoming energy independent (which is the keystone to fixing most of the foreign policy problems we have). No one wants to do anything about fixing the REASONS that companies are moving jobs to foreign soil (which is key to fixing most of the domestic problems we have). All they want to do is tear down the other side in order to keep themselves sitting in a comfy chair. This is not a partisan phenomenon. They're ALL scoundrels and charlatans. Not one molecule of integrity amongst them.
I concur. The entire system can only grow more restrictive with time, with liberties and freedoms narrowed continuously to fit the agenda of power. Neither side has clean hands and we see here every day people spouting the "correctness" of their party, as if one is any better than the other. Neither side fights for freedom and they only use a facade of caring about anything when it helps them in popularity or political elections. Pessimism is a natural result, and the public is more awake today than at any point in my more than 40 years to what is really going on around them. How some hang on to their precious parties is beyond me. It's almost as if we should applaud them for the very infrequent things they do right while completely ignoring the plethora of things they do wrong.
It is clear that there is little difference between these two parties at present time. Both parties are stepping up (or rather, giving the appearance of activity) before the elections, to gain political points. That's the problem. Whatever we choose, we get the same results - windbags and liars. But what should we do? Create a few more new parties?
the donkeyphants aren't going to let that happen............they will work together to keep third parties out of sight
The parties are not the problem. Corrupt career politicians in the pockets of special interest lobbyists are the problem. There is not one dimes worth of difference between the modern D's and R's, when you look beyond the rhetoric and focus on their actions. I'd go as far as to say that anyone who is still party-loyal (either party), is a sheep, drunken on the proverbial kool-aid. And, I'd also go as far as to say, anyone who casts a vote for any incumbent is voting for more of the same BS that we've had for the last two decades.
